I am sweating half to death and missing autumn, so why not enjoy some warm and fuzzy Analogical? ^_^

Patton saw one leaf fall, and it was all over. All four boys were going out on the town to "enjoy the fresh air together." Of course, Roman was ecstatic. As long as he and Patton were together being grossly affectionate, he was always game to go out somewhere. Those two made everything a date. Logan was indifferent as always, but the one person who was somehow more excited than Patton was Virgil. Autumn had arrived in full swing: brisk air, crisp leaves, and pumpkins everywhere. Virgil absolutely adored autumn. It was the one time of year when he could fully embrace his spooky self. Plus, it was always the perfect temperature to wear a hoodie comfortably.

Virgil's smile was especially wide when they arrived outside. Perfectly chilly. The leaves crunched under his feet as he walked, which was music to his ears.

"Wowie!" Patton exclaimed after a few minutes of content silence. "Starbucks has pumpkin spice lattes already! Can we get some, Roman? Pleeease?" He gave Roman his best pouty face, at which Logan rolled his eyes.

"Okay, my love," Roman replied, kissing Patton on the cheek. "Onward! To the lattes!"

The coffee shop was packed to the brim with people buzzing about pumpkin spice. Virgil wondered what is was about cinnamon that made the whole world go insane.

"White chocolate mocha for Virgil!" shouted the barista. Even though it was far less seasonally appropriate, Virgil still ordered the same thing every time he bought coffee. Patton judged him greatly for this, but Virgil didn't care as long as the barista spelled his name right. He turned his cup over.

It read, "Vergal."

They didn't even try.

Virgil grabbed his mocha and sat down, strategically selecting a table without the two lovesick puppies sitting at it. He loved Patton and Roman—he really did—but dealing with their lovey-dovey antics was a little too much at times. He had to admit that they were a cute couple. Adorable even. However, the fact that Roman was kissing whipped cream off of Patton's lips was a little too sickeningly sweet for Virgil to handle.

Logan must have been feeling the same way because he grabbed his completely black coffee and sat down across from Virgil. Virgil's heart sped up a little. He knew that he had had a crush on Logan ever since Roman and Patton got together. They had started to hang out together more and frequently held interesting conversations that they could never have with the lovebirds around. Roman and Patton were eccentric; Logan and Virgil were reserved. Virgil couldn't help but fall for Logan's quiet yet intelligent self. Something about the way his eyes lit up when he was passionately educating the other two sides made Virgil's heart flutter.

"Hello, Virgil," Logan said, stirring his coffee gently.

"Hey, Logan," Virgil replied. He glanced at Logan's cup. "Why are you stirring that? You didn't put anything in it."

Logan shrugged. "I just find that I look more sophisticated if I'm stirring my coffee," he admitted. He took a small sip of his hot drink and regretted it immediately, not because it was too hot, but because his glasses completely fogged over. Virgil giggled at him.

"Yeah, you look really sophisticated," Virgil laughed.

Logan smirked and rolled his eyes, an action reserved specifically for Virgil. Virgil loved it. Logan hardly smiled at all, let alone at the two excitable sides. The fact that Virgil could make the corner of his lips raise at all was a huge accomplishment.
