Hello! ^_^ I know the world is full of horrible negative things right now, so I would like to add to the array of distractions by writing and posting some wholesome oneshots as frequently as possible!
I hope everyone is staying safe out there!
Summary: The sides are overwhelmed by work and videos, so Patton decides to take everyone on a day trip to the beach to unwind.

"FAMILY MEETING!"
Patton stood happily at the base of the stairs, waiting patiently for the others to join him. Roman, Virgil, and Logan slumped down the stairs single file at varying levels of exhaustion. The sides had just concluded a large Sanders Sides related project, and everyone was enormously overworked and fatigued.
Patton called "family meetings" quite often in order to spread good news about Thomas's life, update everyone on happy things going on in the world, or even just to say "I love you" to everyone at once. Today's news, however, was a little different than usual.
"A beach trip?"
"You're kidding!"
"Thaaat's right, kiddos!" Patton exclaimed. "You guys have all been working your hardworking little butts off for the past...forever! So, in order for us to be in tip top shape for the next big project, it's only fair that we get a day off from it all by having some fun in the sun! Whatdya say?!"
Roman screeched dramatically in approval. Virgil covered his ears and winced at the horrifying sound.
"As long as Roman never does that again," he replied, glaring at Roman, "I would love a trip to the beach."
It wasn't a lie, either. Truthfully, Virgil loved to swim. He enjoyed the way that the waves allowed him to float wherever he pleased. There were no rules. The water allowed his brain to relax enough to let him be completely carefree, and after the big, stressful project Thomas had just finished, he desperately needed to be carefree.
"Yay! My son wants to come with us!" Patton was practically vibrating with happiness.
"But what about Logan?" Virgil asked.
Virgil, Patton, and Roman all turned to face the sofa that Logan was sitting on. Just a few moments prior, he had been listening attentively, just as he usually did. However, when the others turned around, they found him fast asleep, his glasses askew. Roman giggled at him.
"So much for a family meeting," he laughed. "Wake him up, Virge."
Virgil sighed. "Mmkay." Virgil stepped closer to the logical side and couldn't help but blush. Logan was so beautiful up close. Virgil knew that that thought was ridiculous, considering they all had the same face, but each side had small physical traits that made them look different from the rest. For example, Patton was the shortest side, Virgil was the palest, etc.
Logan always looked sophisticated when awake; his features were sharp and serious, which helped to give the impression that he did not express any emotions. Virgil, however, knew that that was not the case. The two of them had spent many late nights together talking about conspiracy theories and space, and Virgil always found him to be incredibly smiley and almost nervous. He couldn't understand why, though. Virgil was always nervous and awkward around Logan too, but that was because he had started to develop romantic feelings for him. He doubted with all his heart that his crush could ever feel the same way.
Virgil poked Logan on the shoulder, making him stir slightly, but he quickly went back to sleep. He tried again, and a third time, but to no avail.
