Everyone stared at me, they all looked upset and sorry. They looked like they betrayed me. I studied their faces for a while until Sara broke the silence.
"Amber, didn't you say that the towns were safe?" She asked.
"They are way safer then out here." I said.
"Then don't you think we should go?" Sara asked.
"Look, it was a dream, okay, so I wouldn't know if it was safe or not." I said.
"Well don't you think we should try, I mean it could work." Lexi suggested.
Everyone looked around then we all agreed. We got stuff packed up and got ready to leave. I started the truck and everyone got in. When I was about to pull out my hand was grabbed.
"You shouldn't be driving." Jack said.
"Why, I know how to drive." I told him.
"Yes, but you took a nasty blow to the head so get out and I will drive." He said sternly.
We switched spots and then we left. I watched as the cabin got smaller and smaller as we drove. It seemed like we would never be able to stay in one place. Of course we wouldn't be able to, we were always on the move. The world was a terrible place but I guess it's always like that. As I thought to my self I didn't notice the zombies blocking the road.
I could hear crunching noises mixed with moans and grunts. Blood gushed everywhere and splashed all over the windows. An eye came in through the shattered window and hit Sara. Brains and bones flew up and landed on the windshield. Everyone looked grossed out, Sara even threw up in a bag. It was normal for her though.
We drove for a very long time. The gas tank was on empty. Lexi hopped out and started to fill the tank. She looked over her shoulder many times. There was some movement in the bushes so I got out to. I held up a gun and kept watch. When she finished we jumped into the truck as fast as we could and drove away. When I looked back a raccoon came out and sat on the road. He just sat there not giving a shit about anything.
We passed over a bridge then we entered a small cozy town. The town seemed familiar and nice. It was the town in my dream I realized. My dream was slowly coming true it seemed. Then we stopped, when I looked up it was the same house we were in before. I stared at the house and couldn't move or breathe, everyone waited for me to give the okay but I couldn't move.
I looked at everybody and shook my head. They looked confused for a moment. Then they started to get out. My door was opened and hands were on me. Sara and Jack tried to get me out but I wouldn't let go of the seat. They pulled and pulled until I let go.
"Guys, we can't go here." I said in a shaky voice.
"Why not?" Lexi asked.
"It's the house from my dream, and a lot of things happen there and they aren't good either." I whispered but loud enough so they could hear.
There was a scream from the house and I shot back in the truck. We all pilled in and left. I couldn't stop shaking and thinking about the dream and the things that happened. We soon came to a different house and went in. There were foot steps coming from upstairs, then there was a thud. Something or someone was inside too.
