I was sitting on the couch, watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas" when I heard a creak of the floorboards. I looked behind me to see Roman standing with two mugs of hot chocolate and my favorite blanket wrapped around his shoulders. He smiled when our eyes met.
"Hey babe." He whispered handing me my purple mug. "Can I watch the movie with you?"
I nodded scooting over so Roman would have some room. He smiled at me as he sat down, setting the mug on a coaster and pulling the blanket off his shoulders. He put it over both of us, my head snuggled into him, his arm holding me tight.
We sat back against the old couch, and sipped the warm liquid. It filled my insides with delight, a feeling I couldn't quite place but loved all the same.
The movie was now at the part where Jack entered the christmas land, but I didn't notice. I was to busy taking in Roman's beautiful features. He noticed me staring and smirked, leaning in to kiss me.
I pushed myself up, and our lips met. The warm happy feeling the hot chocolate gave me multiples by a hundred and I realized what I had been feeling. Love.
Love for the snuggles I got from the prince and Love for the chocolate drink that brought back memories. Love for the way Roman lips somehow perfectly matched mine and Love for the way I felt when we were away from each other.
I Loved Roman. And I loved the cozy feeling he gave me.
We pulled back from the kiss, the need of oxygen preventing us from continuing. Our foreheads rested against one another and I smiled.
"I love you Roman." I whispered
"I love you more."
