"Boyfriends" pt3 - Chapter 18 - prinxiety

Roman woke up with a cold pack on his lip and an aching jaw. He sat up and rubbed his eyes looking around the room. His mother was there fussing over him and Virgil was in the background watching his baby siblings, Remy and Emile. They were twins and both only 4, causing them to be a handful.

"What's going on?" at his voice Virgil quickly turned around, Remy on his hip sucking on a sippy cup of juice.

"Oh thank god you're ok!" he rushed over giving Roman a side hug, still having Remy on his hip.

"Why wouldn't I be, what happened?" Roman asked confused.

"Well you and Remus got in a bit of a fight..." Virgil trailed off.

"I can't believe you two! Right before Christmas as well! You should be ashamed of yourself, you made Emile and Remy cry! You are lucky Virgil was there to break it up before it got bad." Edith rambled "I'm going to go wash his hoodie since you got so much blood on it!" The mother walked off mumbling to herself.

Roman glanced at Virgil, "You let me get your hoodie all bloody?"

"Well yeah, you needed something on your lip and that was the closet thing." Virgil answered his cheeks red.

"Awww is Virge blushing?" Roman teased

"Well-" Virgil was interrupted by little Remy.

"Are you guys dating?" the two boys looked at each other and then the toddler before Roman managed to answer.

"Uh yeah." Real intelligent.

"Prove it, kiss him!" Remy shouted

"On the lips!" Emile added clapping his hands.

"Uh.. ok." Roman answered.

Virgil set the toddler down before walking over to Roman on the couch. Roman reached under the boys chin and brought his lips to Virgil's. The kiss was sweet and short, but Virgil was blushing red.

"Awwwww!" Emile gigled. "Virgil's bushing!" (blushing)

"Your siblings are just as bad as you." Virgil mumbled pushing Roman on the shoulder lightly.

"They learned from the best!" Roman laughed

"I wanna play with DeDe!" Remy whined pulling on Virgil's hoodie.

"Who's DeDe?" Virge asked Roman

"It's my other brother, he's 15 and thinks everyone is terrible except for these two." Roman laughed "come on, I'll show where his room is."

Roman got up, picking up Remy on the way.

"I wanna up!" Emile said pushing up his blue glasses.

Virgil laughed and picked the toddler up, following Princy to the stairs. They walked up the wooden stairs laughing and talking on the way. Finally they stopped at a beat up wooden door, it looked as if someone had punched it.

"What happened there?' Virge pointed to the fist dent.

"Remus got mad at him and he locked him out." Roman explained knocking on the door.

"What?" an annoyed voice carried to their ears.

"D, The twins want you!" Roman called opening the barrier between them.

As Virgil walked into the room he was hit with so many things. First thing he noticed was the teenage stink, the second was the black walls making the room seem even smaller than it already was. On one side sat a messy bed with yellow sheets, the bedside table held a terrarium, containing a snake. Opposite to that was an equally messy green sheet bed, with nothing but a thing of deodorant on the bedside.

Virgil hadn't realized before, but the toddler had escaped his arms and run over to the teen. Remy had run over as well and they were both hugging his legs.

"Whose this?" DeDe asked

"I'm Virgil, his boyfriend." it still felt weird to say.

"Oh, well I'm Dominic." Virgil examined the boy and realized that the teen had a birthmark covering half his face. He wore a fedora and a black jacket with a yellow undershirt.

"Oh is that what DeDe stands for?" Virgil was curious

"Yeah, but only the younger ones to call me that, Dominic is too hard for them." he explained picking up Remy in the process.

"Now get out, we wanna play!" Emile ushered them out, closing the door behind them. The two looked at each other before bursting out with laughter.

It was gonna be a good trip after all.
