Part 2

Roman pov

As Remus and Logan argued, I began to zone out. I was tired and my side hurt from our quest. I glanced at Virgil, to see him staring Remus down.

"What's up?" I asked quietly nudging him

"Didn't your father have another kid?"

I nodded, confused. I had run away from my father when I was only 9. I ran away when I found out he had kept the fact that I had a brother from me. My brother must have been six at the time and I had never met him, my father giving him up to foster care. After that, I wandered the streets for years, constantly getting attacked by monsters, until one day I ran into Thomas. I was 12 at the time and he must have sensed the powers in me, because me to camp half blood. I soon got claimed and become friends with Virgil, Logan and Patton.

"And he was three years younger than you?" I nodded again.

"Why?" I asked getting upset

"Look at Remus's nose and eyes." He simply stated

I did as was told and was shocked to see a similarity between our two faces. He had the same shocking green eyes and a round button nose. I looked back at Virgil and raised my eyebrows.

"He's the right age, we could ask Remy about his past?"

I nodded and he turned around and tapped the coffee loving teenager on the shoulder. Remy looked at us his blue eyes wide.

"Yeah?"

"So, this might be weird-" Virgil started

"Trust me sis, nothing can be weird than finding out you're half god." Remy responded sipping his coffee

"You'd be surprised." I murmured "But do you know anything about Remus's past?"

"Why?"

"Uhhh we wanted to help see if we can figure out who his parent is." It wasn't a complete lie.

"Oh, well he was in foster care since he was a baby, all he knows is that his dad gave him up." Remy continued but I zoned out, having all the information I needed.

I found my brother.

Patton pov

We had arrived at camp and began to give the new campers a tour. I noticed Roman was quieter, but didn't say anything for fear of upsetting him. We were walking by the Big House when Chiron stopped us. He whispered something in Romans ear and they walked away, Virgil trailing after.

That left Logan and I alone with the Remus, De, and Remy.

"Well... Let's go get you guys your weapons." I decided, trying to change the subject.

"Weapons?!" Remus asked, seemingly excited.

"Yes, after the campfire tonight you'll know your godly parent and can train with your powers, but sometimes you'll either be too hurt or tired to use them. That's were the weapons come in." Logan explained as I lead them to the weapon shed.

"What weapons do you guys have?" Remy asked curiously.

"I have this watch, that when you press the button-" Logan demonstrated "It becomes a sword."

A collection of ohhhs and awws escaped the kids.

"And I have a bracelet that also becomes a sword when you press the charm." I explained, stopping in front of the shack. "But let's see what you guys find. Just get the one that calls to you the most."

I opened the creaky doors and the three booked it in. Remy headed towards the back, De stopped more in the middle and Remus barely walked in before seeing something.

I laughed, remembering when I first chose my bracelet and the excitement I felt. At least they were happy now, with demigods that doesn't last long.

Remus re-emerged from the shed first holding a spiked club.

"Does this one turn into anything cool?" He asked looking between us.

"No, but it does compact." Logan presses a button on the bottom and it shrunk down to the size of a pen, the spikes retreating inward. "Now it can stay in your pocket."

Remus smiled happy with his choice and put it in a pouch on his belt.

Next came De with a snake belt that transformed into a whip, and finally Remy, emerging with a simple dagger.

They were all happy with their choice and talked among themselves as we gave them the rest of the tour.

Finally we brought them back towards the big house and gave them all bright orange CHB T-shirts. They changed from their school uniforms and joined a game of volleyball, excitedly awaiting the campfire where their questions would be answered.

I smiled before turning to go back to my cabin, but I was stopped by Logan.

"Yes?" I asked happily.

"I was wondering if I could show you something, would that be all right Patton?" He asked formally.

I nodded, blushing like crazy as he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the woods. We began to walk on one of the many worn trails, but then we lead off the path. I was confused, but didn't question it. We walked for a while longer until I started seeing daffodils on either side of us.

I smiled at my favorite flower, before looking up and seeing the most beautiful tree in the world. It was an old oak tree, it reached at least four stories high and in the branches laid a giant tree house.

It reached from the very bottom to the top, and I noticed the close eye to details. Like how the nail didn't puncture the wood but instead used magic to secure it, so the nymph wouldn't be hurt.

"Do you like it?" Logan timidly asked. "Your siblings helped grow it and I built the tree house. I made sure it didn't hurt the tree, and even asked the nymphs permission-"

I cut him off with a kiss. A kiss that sent tingles up my spine and butterflies wild in my stomach. When I pulled back, I was surprised to see daisies surrounding us. I must have grown them in my excitement.

"I really love it Logan." I giggled at his red face and a slight grin appeared on his mouth.

"I'm glad."
