When I got back to the Dawn my feet were bloody and bruised and my legs were covered in itchy bug bites. Walking around to the front of the building I spot two people frantically banging on the door.

"Hellooooo, is anybody in there?" bang.

Forgetting my lack of clothing, I clutched my knife in my hand and approached the strangers. How did they get on our territory?

One was tall with dirty blonde hair and broad shoulders. Almost as big as Luciano.

His black basketball shorts hugged his pert behind matching the black t-shirt he wore. It tightened over his broad chest and shoulders. From the way they were dressed, you could tell they hastily threw on their clothes. Why?

His head tilted up and he sniffed the air. Shit. He knows I'm here. He whispered something to his friend and the man stiffened. I step behind a tree with my knife still in hand observing them.

The blonde lifted his hand, touching his friend's back to turn his attention to the trees. When the man turned around I almost gasped out loud. The dirty blonde friend was the idiot from the other day.

"We know you are out there! Show yourself!" The tall one shouts to the trees.

Stepping out from my hiding space hiding my knife behind my back, I bellowed, "I am the Lorax and I speak for the trees!"

Arsen's hand covered his mouth to suppress a snicker, but the taller look alike stepped on his foot. The bad foot. Arsen winced and hugged his foot to his chest in complaint. "You two are one in the same."

"Arsen why are you here? And who is this? How did you find me?"

"One question at a time sweety," he grinned cockily despite his childish pout. I rolled my eyes, he's back on his games.

The tall blonde stepped on his other foot, "We don't have time for you to be an asshole, you don't talk to a lady like that."

Arsen ignored the scolding and scratched the back of his ear. I cocked my brow and cover my chest with my forearms, waiting.

"Sorry for his behavior Miss, but do you know where the midwife is?" I contemplated on playing a part, not wanting to deal all my cards at once. However, the look on his face told me this was serious.

"That would be me, is everything alright?" I stepped forward worriedly. Now it was his turn to cock his eyebrow and look me up and down. "You?"

"Yes me. Do you want my help or not?" My arms recrossed over my chest in irritation. He's probably just like his friend, egotistical.

His face turned grim and seriousness overtook his features. "Yes, we have a mother ready to give birth."

So I have a little time, she's not in labor just yet. "Where's your midwife?"

They nervously looked between each other, eyes glazing over as they mind linked. Rolling my eyes at their secrecy, I knew the woman needed my help regardless. "Uh, something came up." The taller one spoke. He's not very good at lying. Good.

"Yeah he's busy right now," Arsen added.

"Mhm. I'll get to the bottom of this later." I stared pointedly at them. "Right now I need to dress and I'll be back."

Brushing past the two, I was tugged back by a strong hand. "You smell like him. Where is he?" His brown eyes bore into mine, questioning and serious.

I drew my eyebrows together in confusion. "Who?"

He dropped my hand, "Never mind, hurry please."

Well at least he had manners. Rushing inside I pulled on a black matching pair of bra and underwear. Hiking my black tights up, I left the t-shirt on. The smell comforted me.
