"Hello?" he drew out the ending, stretching the word.

"No, you didn't really think I took the window did you?" Dani's harsh whisper slapped my ears.

"Yes I did! You're like that!" Still whispering as the footsteps approached.

"Well you're right, I did!"

"Ya, I know!" Our whispered argument stayed confined within the walls of my room. Hands flailed in anger and faces adopted the color of a tomato.

The person was nearly to the room and we continued to glare at each other in silence. Stepping closer to Dani's face, she backtracked. "Don't look at me like that!"

Anger now nonexistent, I smirk down at her. "Or what, you gonna break into my house again?" I teased.

For a split second, her facade broke and her teeth poked out from under her lips. In an instant they were covered again and her eyes widened a fraction before she tackled me to the ground. "I was only joking! Damn Dani, calm down."

Laughter fell from my lips like a waterfall. I tried to wiggle free, but Dani immobilized me with her weight.

"Hold still flasher, someone is in here and you're barely wearing clothes!" Just as the words left her mouth, I stilled and that person invited themself further into my humble abode.

"Shoot, can I get in between that?" Rubbing his hands together, Vincent stepped closer. A shit eating grin plastered on his face while mine colored red.

"No Vince, wait!"

Ignoring my heeding, his weight pushed forward and collided with our bodies. My lungs flattened and I exhaled an oomf. Dani grunted in my ear, her hip digging into my side.

"Vincent Green, get your fat ass off of us!" Dani's scold barely reached his ears. His grin widened, rivaling the cashier cat, and he chuckled. "It is big, you're right. I worked hard for this shit, I might as well use it."

Rolling over, he exaggeratedly rubbed his behind on Dani and I. "Vince, you have until the count of three. Stand up and walk out the room without looking at us. If you can handle that simple task, I won't give you an ass beating." I showcased my teeth to convey my threat and mercy.

"Wait, you won't give me one. That means you were planning on it?" A knot formed between his brows and his confused eyes tried to look back over his shoulder.

"One." I stopped his head from turning back with a pluck to the temple.

"Ouch, that actually hurt and I will need for you not to do it agai-

"Two." My voice rose, tone deepening.

It was as if he sat on hot coals for too long when he got up. Barely on his feet before he traveled forward and out the door. "Alright, I'm gone!"

"Now close it." I commanded from my spot on the floor. My body felt paper thin. The door slowly pulled in and shut with a soft click.

I blew out a breath and closed my eyes, letting my head drop to the ground. That was a close one. Dani rolled off me and repeated my actions.

Our short lived victory stayed exactly that when a small voice passed through the door. "You should puts some pants on before we train A, I have the fat ass not you."

Grabbing a pillow, I launched it at the door as if it would do me any good. "Asshole," I muttered under my breath.

"I heard you!" his voice came from further away.

"You were supposed to, asshole!" I exclaimed louder.

A chuckle floated down the hall overshadowed by my groan. Dani laughed at my side and stood to her feet. I did the same, but somewhat shakier.
