"You're doing amazing, one more time for me," I instructed Alexandra. Her pain bounced between the walls of the Dawn.

The gown she wore was saturated in her salty tears and sweat. Veins popping out of her neck as another scream tore through her throat. His hand was clenched in her sweaty one, pale and devoid of blood.

Focusing on the head that slowly pushed out followed by a body, silence claimed the room. A loud angry cry filtered in the air, hungry.

Higher and higher the cry pushed me, floating alongside me. A second cry was heard, bringing me back to reality. Back to the ground.

The umbilical cord was cut, severing the constant need of the mother for the wild.

Carefully, he was wrapped in a cloud of blue and passed to the father who shuffled closer to the birth giver. She raised a tired hand to stroke her nature's forehead, cooing soft words.

She settled her nature on her chest as more angry cries fell from his lips. Hungry. Small steps were heard as I left them with privacy.

Eyes fluttered shut with memories playing behind the eyelids. A soft cry of female nature was the first step. Next a gurgle bubbled from a pup's mouth, taking me up more.

Another nature was silent, small chocolate orbs slowly revealed themselves with curious glances. Those deep irises pulled me high.

More flashed behind my lids, faster and faster and I soared. I flew across beautiful rivers of blue, salty teal oceans and algae green ponds.

Rivers roared in my ears and my eyes closed to breath in the fresh scents of a flower blooming. The sweet sickle tickled my nose as I passed maple trees.

The wind caressed my skin, but I slowed. Blue streams melted into white rapids, the sound rising above me and forcing me down in deafening volumes.

The rushing rapids upturned dirt, exposing murky liquid. Tree branches stretched above me, laying on my back and weighing me down more.

Water blurred my vision and plugged my nose. It seeped into my hair, drenched my clothes, adding more weight.

Eyes struggling to see clearly, blinked frantically. Heartbeat in my ears along with the rushing water overwhelming me. Confusion clouded my mind, which way is up?

Choppy breaths cut short by wet coughs. I looked down and was met with hazel eyes. Murky brown water swirled in their depths, surrounding light green plants. Churning from brown to green, but settling in a mixture.

A soft cry floated from the baby. Tiny hands grabbing at air, for something, anything until they settled on my face.

My hazel orbs reflected in hers. Soft fingers trailed my face as light coos drifted through my ears settling on my heart. My heavy heart.

The girl was like a feather, so light. Jealousy hummed low in my heart. My eyes burned with tears, but none fell.

Soft skin explored my face pulling at my lips, plugging my nose. Her eyes held the happiness that mine lost. Her mouth spread into a smile and a giggle floated from her into me.

It pulled at the edges of my mouth breaking the frown and fixing the smile. Mine mirrored hers.

Then her face contorted, a knot forming between her brows. Her eyes snapped shut to keep the tears from gushing through. Her smile broke, and an angry cry ripped through the air.

It pressed on my rib cage, suffocating me. My heart took off in worry. Her cries got louder and louder, she became heavy. They were angry, bitter.

Sweat formed on my brow, struggling to hold so much weight. I tensed in exertion as I cried out in agony with her. Angry tears leaked from my eyes as she slipped through my fingers.
