My shower was lengthy and rejuvenating. Not as rejuvenating as I hoped, I still felt sluggish. I toweled off my body and moisturized my hair, letting it curl down my back.

On the counter lay a matching set of lacy blue undergarments. Rolling my eyes at Dani's antics, I slipped them on.

Ripped jeans exposed my thighs to my knee. Dani knows I have to run, why would she give me jeans. Mentally face palming, I pulled on the bright yellow shirt that contrasted nicely with my tan skin.

The top left breast read 'billie eilish' in black embroidery. It tickled my exposed thigh, the shirt wasn't mine but I was a big fan.

Exiting the bathroom, the room was bland. My suitcases sat next to the door along with a few boxes. Vince and Dani laid on my now bare bed, her head on his shoulder.

They were freshly showered with clean clothes. They smelled of cherries and mints, they must've used Marg's shower.

They smiled at me and I crawled in between them. My body was perpendicular to them, my head on Vince's chest and legs slung over Dani's waist.

Her fingers twiddled the long shirt. Vincent twirled a strand of my hair in his hand and spoke softly, "I love you, A."

"I love you too, Vince. And I love you Dani." I poked her cheek lightly to draw her attention.

"I love you more A-hole," she smiled. "This is one of my favorite shirts, so take care of it. You can only borrow it so that means you have to come back, got it?"

Laughing at her serious tone, I mock saluted. "Yes Ma'am!"

She giggled in return and pushed my legs off of her. Lending me a hand, I clasped mine in hers and she heaved me up. "Damn girl, what have you been eating?"

"Puh lease, you eat more than me." I countered.

"Whatever." She tried handing me a pair of thin socks but I declined. Reaching under my bed, I revealed light blue fuzzy socks with grin.

Dani looked at me in question and I smiled back. "It's fall, I get cold faster than you guys do." Shoving my fuzzy feet into my black hiking boots, I stood up dusting my hands off.

Vincent chuckled from behind us and shooed us out the door. He followed us out the house and onto the loud porch.

"This is my gift for you to borrow." Vince holds out a black hoodie for me to take. "Now you have another obligation to come back and return this as well."

The night's frost bit at my bare arms. Once green leaves hardened into a crispy orange and the treetops danced with fire kept at bay by the cool night air. The sun sat low in the sky, preparing for night fall that came earlier each day.

I accepted the hoodie and opened my arms. He crushed me to him, resting his chin on my head. A whine sounded from next to me and I felt added weight on my side.

Dani crushed us closer together in a very tight embrace. When I let out a struggled wheeze, they let go with a mumbled sorry.

Wearing the hoodie, the fabric sat lower than the shirt at my mid thigh. "Alright guys, one last run while I drown in borrowed clothes?" I quirked a brow teasingly in question.

"No not the last, just one before a break." Vince happily corrected. "Plus, it's a race." He smirked at me before he ran, jumping into his wolf. Dani followed, lagging behind slightly.

"You cheaters!" I shouted before taking off. Laughter fell from my lips as I listened to their excited yips. They would slow their pace slightly to nip at my feet and then jet off again.
