"Okay, okay, I'm going," I lift my hands in surrender and shoved the dirty blonde away from me. Arsen rubbed the back of his neck and scowled at me. "That was rough," he complained. "But I like it rough babes."

"Shut the fuck up Arsen." Luciano's sneer was sincere and and he was ready to pounce.

"Sir yes, Sir!" He mock saluted, drawing another snarl from the beast. Luciano's hand connected with the back of Arsen's head and a loud thump resonated though the room.

He tugged the back of his head again in attempt to alleviate the pain. He cast his gaze down studying the tiled floor. "Sorry Sir," he mumbled and walked out the room dragging his feet.

"Leave," was all he ordered me as he too left the room, his scent trailing after him.

Without his presence, the room felt empty. My heart felt heavy. I blew out an irritated breath and followed them out the room.

As I round the first corner, both men had disappeared, great. I leisurely strolled down the hall, trailing my fingertips against the bare walls. Finding the exit, I breathed in the fresh outside air. Not tainted with his scent.

Turning around, I studied the small building made solidly with logs. You could tell they have harsh winters by how sturdy their buildings are. Meant to last.

Facing the opposite direction, I continue my path off the territory and into the woods. When I got back to the Dawn building, Dani was seated on my office chair nervously biting her nails. "There you are! I've been looking all over for you! I swear Marg was gonna stuff me with food and eat me like I was Gretel."

She rushed to her feet and crushed me in a hug. "Well I don't know where I was, would you like to explain that bit to me?" I looked at her expectantly.

A blush crept up her neck and dotted her cheeks. She intertwined her hands together and crossed her left leg over her right with a nervous smile. "Oh, I don't know. I thought we were on our territory."

"Oh please, don't bullshit me Dani." She can never get one over on me. My hands found my hips and my brow cocked, challenging her to lie again.

Her eyes frantically searched the room for an excuse, her gears turning. Once she looked at me her face fell, and so did her hopes of lying her way out.

"Well it was a random meadow I found with super good berries. So I thought I'd share it with my bestest friend in the whole wide world," she beamed.

I guess I'll let this one slide. "Be more cautious next time Dani, I don't want you getting hurt."

A worried expression on my face showed her how serious this could have been. Her shoulders dropped in defeat and she mumbled, "Yes mom."

"What was that? I couldn't hear you."

"I said yes."

"Mhm, that's what I thought."

She fell back onto my office couch and made herself comfortable by propping her feet on my table. I swatted her feet down and she grunted in annoyance leaving them there. Two can play at that game I smirked.

I grabbed each ankle in my hands and yanked her body off the couch. She thudded to the ground and I was on top of her in an instant. My fingers dug into her sides as she screamed in protest.

"No no, stop! I can't take it! You win Aura, you win!" Her body spazzed and twisted in every direction to evade my tickling fingers. Her giggles started to reduce while she gasped for air, her face beat red.

My laughter stopped when a big furry mop attacked me. Slobber dropped down my face and I was pinned to the floor under a heavy dog. "Good boy, Titus, good boy," Dani praised.
