"Honey I'm home!"
The once clear vision of the man blurred then vanished.
"Shut your trap, mom will beat our asses." The two argue with furious hand movements and I watched with a smile.
A dark haired hazel eyed man flashed before my eyes. His face formed a pout as I plucked the space where his eyebrows met.
"Would you mind? A woman just gave birth, you should probably put a sock in it," I suggested. I don't even know these people and I already can't stand their bickering.
Arsen stopped what he was doing and turned his full attention to me. He licked his lips and smirked as he took slow steps in my direction. "What's up cutie," wink, "did you birth my sister or my brother?"
"I," putting my hand on his chest and shoving, "did not give birth to anything. Stop acting like a hormonal teenager."
I heard a light cough meant to cover a laugh, but it failed miserably.
A light blush crawled up his neck, cute. He stomped his foot and a knot formed between his brows."You still didn't answer my question."
"If you asked her politely then maybe you'd get an answer. You'll learn to grow up some day, bud." The guy I still don't know the name of lightly taps Arsen's shoulder. I laughed when Arsen put his hands on his hips and rolled his eyes.
What a handful these two were.
They both stepped in closer but quickly took several stepped back pinching their noses. "What is that smell?"
"You smell terrible." Arsen fake gagged to prove his point.
Squinting my eyes at the two idiots, "I just held a newborn baby in my arms because a woman just gave birth!" My sentence gradually got louder and harsher.
"So do I have a brother or sister?" I met the pale green eyes of the tall male when he repeated the previous question.
Slightly surprised that it was his mother that I just helped to give birth, I furrowed my brows. "Those are your parents?"
"Duh, you can't see the resemblance?" Arsen's smart remark came from the couch. His feet were now propped on the coffee table as he flicked through the television at a low volume.
My brows furrowed further, "Wait, you guys are brothers?" At this, they both stared at me like I was blind.
"You couldn't see that resemblance?" It was green eyes who teased this time. I felt my cheeks heat in embarrassment, how could I not know. Mentally face palming, I shook my head at myself.
"You were very observant the first time we met. Now, I'm not so sure." A compliment and an insult wrapped in one.
A soft click was heard behind me as Andy stepped out, "Leave the poor girl alone boys." He was stern with his words, disappointed in his sons.
"Can we meet it dad?" Andy rolled his eyes at Arsen. "Don't call your sister an 'it' have respect."
"Thank the goddess, I couldn't handle another brother," I heard green eyes say under his breath.
Following Andy into the room, the boys pinched their noses and scrunched their faces at the smell. "Look at it Asher, it smells worse than Aura." Arsen's eyes flickered to me.
So that's his name.
I took the liberty the pluck the back of his head before walking to Sadie. Arsen massaged the spot that I plucked and mumble incoherently under his breath.
"Thank you dear, I didn't have the energy to get up and do it myself." She smiled at me causing a laugh to escape my lips.
"Anytime you need it, I'm ready. Here, let's get her cleaned up so the boys can let go of their noses before they fall off." She lightly laughed and it filled the airy room.
