When we met(a zalfie fanfic)

Zoe

"Louise i'm going to Starbucks, do you want anything" I shouted upstairs.

"No thanks chummy, i'm meeting Matt in half an hour so take the key"

I grabbed the house key and made my way out of our apartment. As usual the weather was being completely unpredictable. The rain soaked through my clothes making them slightly see through. I held the hood of my jacket on my head and ducked my head, shielding my face from the harsh winds. I knew the journey to Starbucks like the back of my hand so there wasn't really any need to look where i was going.

I had been only walking for around five minutes but it felt like hours. Rain seemed to make every movement ten times harder. My legs ached with every step i took. I had to keep telling myself just two more minutes then i would be in the warmth of Starbucks.

Suddenly, without warning, i hit something. I was now sat in a puddle on the ground very confused with what just happened. A voice spoke from above me, i slowly tilted my head towards the voice and saw a tall, brown haired man. He looked around my age and spoke with a voice like silk, drawing you in so you heard every single word.

"Im so sorry, are you ok" he said holding out a hand.

"It's ok, I'm fine" i replied grabbing hold of his hand and pushing myself up from the ground.

"Umm do you want to come back to my apartment and get cleaned up?" He asked.

"Honestly it's fine, i only live down the road anyway."

"Ok at least let me walk you back there then."

I was slightly wary of the fact i'd only just met this guy and he already wanted to walk me home. I put that to the back of my mind and agreed anyway i mean he was kind of cute.
