When we met(a zalfie fanfic)

Everyone was now in bed and i was on the sofa. I was just laid there, then i realised i hadn't said goodnight to Zoe properly. I got up and made my way to Zoe's bedroom. I knocked on the door.

"Come in" she whispered. I opened the door.

"Hey Zo, I just came in to say goodnight properly" i walked towards her with open arms and hugged her.

"Night Alf"

"Night Zo, can we talk in the morning?"

"Yeah sure what about"

"Just stuff, see you in the morning" i walked away and closed the door behind me.

I made my way back to the living room and lay back down on the sofa, putting the blanket on top of me. I didn't go to sleep straight away, i couldn't stop thinking about what i was going to talk to Zoe about. I hope she understands, i don't want her to get upset.

I woke up early this morning, i wanted to talk to Zoe before Louise and Matt Woke up. I still hadn't decided what i was going to tell her yet. My thoughts were interrupted by Zoe's bedroom door opening and a sleepy Zoe walking out while rubbing her eyes.

"Morning Alf" she yawned

"Morning, could we have that chat now?" i enquired.

"Yeah sure"

"Well Zo, it's about what happened yesterday"

"What about it?"

"Well i think we should forget all about the kiss..."

I didn't even have time to explain myself before Zoe ran into her bedroom and slammed the door. This is exactly the opposite of how i wanted her to react. I went into the kitchen and dropped onto one of the chairs. Louise came stomping into the kitchen.

"What's with all the banging, it woke me up?" she said with her hands on her hips.

"Well i told Zoe something and then she got upset and then she ran into her bedroom and locked the door" i answered.

Louise sat down in the chair opposite me at the table.

"Spill, what's happened?" Louise asked.

"Me and Zoe kissed"

"WHAT!!, so you're like a thing now?"

"No, i told Zoe she should forget about it, but she didn't let me explain myself"

"Well what did you want to explain?"

"I just didn't want her to feel uncomfortable Louise, like we were rushing things, i wanted to show her how much i cared and how i'm nothing like Jamie. I didn't want to scare her away that's all"

Louise didn't respond she just stood up and walked out of the kitchen. I had no idea what she was going to do but it felt good to get everything out in the open. I felt much better about everything now.
