When we met(a zalfie fanfic)

Everything was going great so far, i went to the girls house and she invited me in. I found out her name was Zoe and she said my name was cute. i don't know if she meant to say that out loud but i said thanks anyway. It was a bit awkward at first and we spent around five minutes just sat in silence but that soon changed. Zoe started asking me loads of questions, i felt like i was at a job interview. I didn't really mind though. It felt kind of good to know that she actually wanted to get to know me. I was just about to start asking Zoe about herself when someone knocked on her door. She stood up to answer it but then ran straight back.

"Hide in my bedroom" she said in a hurry.

"Why, who is it?" i responded.

"Just do it, now"

I obeyed and ran into one of the rooms hoping it was the right one. i knew i shouldn't eaves drop but i just couldn't help myself. i listened carefully at the door. i heard a man's voice, i soon discovered his name was Jamie. He didn't sound like the sort of person you'd mess with. He told Zoe he would get angry if she was lying to him, or something on the lines of that. i started to get worried for Zoe's safety because Zoe was of course lying, she wasn't sick like she told him and she was hiding me in her bedroom. Who was this man? I didn't have much time to think about that question though because Zoe came into the bedroom.

"You can come out now" she spoke.

"Zoe who was that man?" i said looking seriously at her.

She pulled me into the living room and sat me down on the sofa. She then went to the kitchen and poured two drinks. She came back and placed the drinks on the coffee table then sat down next to me.
