When we met(a zalfie fanfic)

Alfie

Louise and Matt left just after eating breakfast. They said they were going shopping all day. How could they spend all day shopping? I would find that so boring. I grabbed another pancake from the plate and began cutting it up.

"So what do you want to do today Zo?" I asked.

"Movie day?"

"Sure"

We both got up from the table and made our way to the living room. Zoe knelt down next to the tv and opened up the cabinet revealing hundreds of dvds. She pulled out the one nearest to her and inserted it into the dvd player. It was The Hunger Games. She stood up and walked into the kitchen. I was confused, what was she doing? She appeared in the living room again a couple of minutes later with a giant bowl of popcorn. Of course, how could you watch a film without popcorn. Zoe sat down, the bowl of popcorn between us. I was a little disheartened that she didn't want to sit close to me but soon forgot about it when the film started.

Half way through the film i decided to remove the popcorn from in between us and scoot up so i was right next to Zoe. She Stood up and started to make her way out of the room.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Bathroom" she smiled, i could tell it was fake.

I guess i made her feel uncomfortable. Good going Alfie, you just ruined everything. I would never get her back now. I decided to give her some space and continued watching the film. After half an hour Zoe still hadn't come back from the bathroom. I started to get worried. I pushed myself up from the sofa and walked towards the bathroom. I knocked twice.

"Zo?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you ok?"

"Im fine" she sniffled.

"No you're not, let me in"

"No" she shouted.

I walked away from the door, turning around and heading to the kitchen. I grabbed a piece of paper from the side and a pen. I started to write a note.

Zoe,
I'm so sorry i made you feel uncomfortable. I should have respected your decision to keep your distance, if i could turn back time i would. I would make everything perfect again. I would fix you, fix us. I'm sorry for hurting you again, i never meant to. I'm going to go home and give you some space. Call me when you're ready to see me again.

I walked back to the bathroom with the note. I crouched down and slipped the note under the door. I grabbed my shoes and pulled them on, quickly tying the laces. I grabbed my jacket off of the hook and made my way towards the front door.
