When we met(a zalfie fanfic)

Zoe

I woke up screaming, tears streaming down my face. I looked around but only darkness filled my eyes. where was i? I had no idea. I carried on screaming that's when the door burst open. A tall shadow rushed towards me and held me tight. The familiar arms could only belong to one person...Alfie. I held onto his upper back, my breathing slowed down till it was back to normal. However i carried on crying.

"Sssshh, it's going to be ok i'm here now," Alfie's soothing voice calmed me down. "what happened"

"I had a nightmare" i sniffled.

"Come on, lay back down, tell me everything" he laid me down not letting go of me once.

"It was him...the pizza boy, h-he was kissing me. I-I looked f-for you b-but you didn't c-come. H-he lead m-me to my room a-an a-an a-and he..."

"No it's ok, you don't have to say. I'm here now, no one is ever going to hurt you"

"P-promise"

"I promise, now go back to sleep Little one"

"Stay" i murmured.

"Ok" he whispered back.

I snuggle up to Alfie and placed my head onto his chest. I could hear his steady heart beat. It was soothing, almost hypnotising. My eyes felt heavy, i closed them slowly and drifted off back into a deep sleep, Alfie still holding me tight. I felt so safe in his arms. I was slowly letting down my barrier again, i just hoped he wouldn't hurt me again like before.

I woke up the next morning, i felt empty. His arms weren't wrapped around me anymore. I looked to my side, he wasn't laying next to me. Had he just left me again. He said he would stay.

"Alfie!" I shouted.

He came charging into my room soaking wet in just a towel. Wow he looked hot. I had seen him shirtless before, in fact it was just last night, but i was too busy sobbing to realise how toned he was.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"What Errrm...nothing" I realised i had been staring at him and looked to the ground in embarrassment.

"Like what you see" he said posing.

"Don't flatter yourself" i giggled.

He turned around and walked back down the hallway to the bathroom. I got out of bed and made my way to my wardrobe. I picked out some green floral printed trousers and a white crop top. I changed into the clothes and sat on the chair in front of my dresser. I decided not to wear makeup so just wiped away the smudged makeup that was still on my face from yesterday. I brushed my hair and tied it up in a high pony tail.

I exited my room and made my way to the kitchen. The most amazing smell entered my nose, getting stronger with every step. I made it to the kitchen, Louise was by the stove cooking what looked to be pancakes.

"Morning chummy, sit down breakfast will be ready soon"

I sat down at the table, joining Matt who was already there checking his phone. I decided to do the same. I reached into my pocket and pulled my phone out, typing in my 4 digit code and tapping on the twitter icon. Soon enough Louise was bringing a plate of pancakes piled high towards the table. Alfie still hadn't come into the kitchen which puzzled me.

"Where's Alfie" i asked.

"Probably trying to make himself look good to impress you" Louise mocked.

"Shut up" i said while blushing.

As if on cue Alfie entered the kitchen with his hair looking perfect. Maybe he did do this for me. Probably not.

"Something smells good" he said.

"Well you better get stuck in before Zoe eats them all" Louise chucked. I blushed a dark shade of pink.

Alfie sat in the chair next to me and grabbed a pancake from the plate. He spread Nutella over it and rolled it up. He took a big bite and placed it back down on his plate. I laughed and wiped the Nutella from around his mouth with my thumb. He told me he was saving that bit for later, this made me laugh even more. For the next 20 minutes all four of us just spoke about lots of random stuff. Louise and Matt looked at each other then stood up.

"Me and Matt are going shopping today, we'll see you later" Louise spoke.

"Ok bye"

"Bye chummy"

Matt said his goodbyes as well and they were both out of the door faster than i could say chummy. I had a feeling she had planned this.
