Nightwing was in her wolf form. The imprints of purple wings with the background of a silver moon that were on her muscular shoulders rippled as she slowly stalked an elk that was upwind of her. It's just a few more feet away... All of a sudden, a large SHPOW echoed through the air; the elk dropped dead. Nightwing quickly morphed into her human form to not get shot herself. Her glowing, ice blue eyes were narrowed, and were brighter from the adrenalin coursing through her veins.

She followed the sound of the gunshot, which wasn't that far away. Emerging from some wild strawberry bushes, she came behind a muscular, well toned, man. His biceps and forearms were large lumps beneath his brownish Under Armor short-sleeved shirt. When he turned his face towards the sound of Nightwing and the bushes, she got a better look of his face. It was somewhat square at the jawline, and his cheekbones were outlined softly. His nose was perfect; not too long nor short, and slightly rounded tip. His eyes were a beautiful blend of blue and green, almost minty looking. His dirty blonde hair that covered the top of his forehead looked as if he'd been out most of the day or he recently poured some of his water on his head.

When he actually saw Nightwing- with her slightly curled, slightly tangled brown hair in a loose pony tail over the right side of her chest, her dark shirt with her imprint symbol on the front made with sequins by her own hands- he smiled politely. "I'm sorry, ma'am. Did I disturb your hike?" he asked with genuine kindness. Rubbing her tattoo-looking imprint- only one in human form- that's on her right shoulder, she replied, "Not really. I just wanted to see what you shot..." She could feel her face warm at her dumb answer, which has never happened to her before. "Ah... Well it was an elk. Big one, too. First time I've been hunting!" Nightwing nodded, still rubbing her shoulder. Nice British accent! Me-OW! she thought while glancing from his gorgeous face and a nearby fern. After a few awkwardly quiet seconds, he stood from where he was kneeling behind some bracken and held out a hand to the morphing girl. "I'm Lium Hensin. You are?" he asked sweetly, his smile becoming a full on grin, which showed his perfectly whitened, straight teeth. "Rain. Rain Withersteam." Rain replied, returning the handshake and a dazzling smile.

"So, Rain, after I put away the elk and I get a little more... clean... would you like to go out to eat? I know it's kinda odd and all, since we met because I shot something, but I like you." Lium chuckled and his eyes kinda crinkled when he laughed. Adorable laugh- adorable everything! Her smile wider, Rain nodded and replied with a bit of squeak in her voice, "Sure thing! Need any help with the elk? They're pretty heavy." At that, he laughed again and she winked at him. "Nah, nah I think I can manage. I'll just go and get my jeep." He turned and walked towards the main parking lot, which is about a five-minute walk and a two-minute drive on the dirt pathway. When he was walking, Rain caught him glancing at her over his shoulder a few times.

When he got out of eyesight, Rain sat on the thick roots of an old evergreen. The deep green moss was rather comfortable. Why am I doing this? He's a stranger! she sighed inwardly. She shook her head slightly, disappointed in herself for practically falling for a complete stranger. Then an unknown part of her mind spoke up for its first time. Lets just see how he is in bed. She straightened her back at this. Yes, this seems fine... After all, she may never have to see him again! Exactly... that feminine goddess purred. Have a good time! Obviously no alcohol; you're only 19! I won't push that much...

After about 10 minutes, Rain could an engine's rumble steadily getting closer. She stood and wiped the clinging bark and moss off the rear of her black jeans. A black Jeep Wrangler drove out from between some bushes that were in the same clearing as the elk, which was about 50 feet from where Rain stood. Lium stepped out of the door less Jeep and trotted to the kill, which was by his left rear tire, and hefted into the small pickup truck-like bed at the back of his ride. Wiping his hands on his beige cargo shorts, he looked around for a second to find Rain. She waved at him to get his attention and jogged over to him.
