Rain was motionless as she gawked at Lium's back. She could tell by the movement of his shoulders that he was laughing. She growled, then she ran after him and called out. "Lium! Wait!" He paused as she caught up to him. She stood there awkwardly as she recalled the reason she called to him. "Uh..." then an idea popped into her head. "You forgot to pay." she blurted out. Lium patted his pockets and found his wallet. He took out his credit card and gave it to her. When she turned to run to the cash register to swipe his card, he grabbed her left arm. Ow! It was her hurt arm. He quickly loosened his hold. "You can give that back to me later." and winked.

Confused, Rain continued to do as she had originally planned. When she turned back with his receipt and card, he was already gone. So that's what he meant... She shrugged and put them in her pocket. Hurriedly, she went back to his table to clean it up and eat.

When she got back to it, she realized that she had lost her appetite, so she just sat down in the chair he was sitting in. It's still warm... she noticed. She shook her head to try to clear the thought away. She sighed and started picking at the hard skin that was next to her nails. Patiently, she waited until 12:45 to start working again. She hummed along to Stutter by Maroon 5 as she did.

Finally! It was the end of her work day- 9 o' clock. She untied her apron and set it in the basket that held them all. She waved to Jim Bo, who'd be staying here until midnight, and took her keys out of her pocket. When she got in her F430, she turned the radio up again. This time, she plugged in her phone to play her own music. Sitting in the car as she browsed, she finally found a song. The Skrillex remix of La Roux's In for the Kill  was a good one. She tapped it and as it began, she drove off to her apartment.

As she tapped her fingers on the steering wheel to the dubstep, she thought of what she would do. I only work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I could probably get my clothes together and get out of the apartment. She was glad she hadn't given Lium her phone number, or else he could track her. She pursed her lips on what she should do about work. He knows I work there, so he could find me easily there. Although... it's a public place. I doubt he would do anything to me in public.

She rubbed her temples with a free hand and sighed. She had just pulled into the parking lot, and it was raining again. She quickly pause the song, unplugged her phone from the charger, took her keys out, and ran to the covered stairs- making sure her car door closed, and that it was locked, of course. She flashed up the stairs, taking two at a time, and went to her door.

There was a little stuffed animal dragon. It had pink and blue scales and it's light purple eyes were very round, looking apologetic. There was a note in its paws. It read "Just something to help you think of me. -Lium" His handwriting was what most military officers used: all capitol letters with a small size. "Humph." she picked it up and unlocked the door.

When she was inside, with the door locked back in place, she threw the card in the trash can and examined the dragon. It was very soft, and very plushy. I wonder why he gave this to me... She shrugged and went into her room. She slowly changed out of her clothes into her comfy P.J.'s, the slid under the covers. She decided to stay in human form.

She dreamt that she was laying on the couch, watching the Avengers on Blu-Ray. She had heard something in her dream, maybe a door creaking open, so she turned her head towards her bedroom. Seeing nothing, she went back to watching. Then she heard soft foot steps in her dream, perhaps someone walking on carpet. She paid no mind to it. Then, she could see a figure standing at the end of the couch, where her bare feet were.

She turned her head to see Lium standing there, with a large grin. What do you want? she asked him in her dream. Her tone wasn't angry or scared, but it was friendly, slightly teasing. He just continued to grin as he moved towards her end of the couch. Rain looked up at him with happy eyes.  He had reached her side and was infront of the couch and kneeled down, blocking her view of the movie. Move over! I can't see the movie. She told him, pouting, as she craned her neck to see around him.
