"I was born on September 15th, 1496. Because it had only been 4 years since Columbus discovered the Americas, my family was still living in England. I lived up until my late teen years with my family, until one night, there was banging noises outside. I was upstairs in my room, secretly drinking- alcohol obviously. Because of that, I was groggy, and I can poorly remember that night.
"The only thing I can remember after my father and older twin brothers- who were in their twenties at the time- going out to check out the noise. After that, nothing that I can remember, until after an hour or so, I stumbled outside, calling to my father. They hadn't been back yet. So, I walked around our house. It was fairly large, consider-"
"So... how old are you?" Rain interrupted. Quickly covered her mouth with both her hands. Lium glared at her, and quickly answered, "Five hundred twenty." Rain raised her eye brows till they reached the top of her forehead. Continuing, Lium had to remember where he was in his story. "Our house was fairly large, because we were the governor of our village." Rain giggled quietly. 'Ello, guv-nuh! Lium rolled his eyes, slightly amused, but mostly annoyed. "Anyways, I walked along our house, ready to jump into a window if something popped up.
"And something did. Or should I say, someone. It was a woman, probably in her early forties. She had brunette hair, light green eyes, and her body was flawless. She had on a black dress, and it was ripped on the sleeves and small ones at the bottom. Even though all her beautiful features, I was horrified. She had fresh blood dripping from her lips. I immediately knew that it was my family's."
Lium closed his eyes and shuttered. After a few heart beats, he composed himself and went on. "I took a few steps back, and fell backwards. She lunged for me and a shouted out, trying to fight her off, 'Get off me! Go away!' I shouted at her in fear and anger. I kept thinking to myself that if I wasn't so bloody drunk, I could've helped my family, or at least be with them. But then, she stopped right before she bit my throat.
"'No, Analexia!' a man shouted from behind her. I heard her gurgle and she fell forward, this time her own blood seeping out of her open mouth. The man behind her had a sparkling dagger, made out of something I've never seen before. He frowned at her now dead body and looked at me. 'I never liked her anyways. She never knew control.' He shook his head in disappointment. He put his clean hand out to help me up, and I took it. 'What happened to my family?' I asked him.
"He had a curly mustache and curly, black hair. He was wearing a gray suit made of normal clothe and a matching top hat. 'I've chosen you as my successor my dear Lium. You don't want your family finding out that you won't age, or you'll be dead in a minute! That, or you'll kill them yourself.' He smiled at me and put an arm around my shoulder. 'Come along, and I'll give you your basic training.' And I did. I didn't have anything else left for me in that house.
"I learned that his name was Javier Movér, and that he was a leader of a large band of what he turned me into. I suppose you can guess by Analexia having blood in her mouth- vampires. He turned me into a vampire to lead his band. But we'll get to that later. He trained me on how to be a gentlemen, and how to lead a very organized vampire gang. He also taught me how to seduce women into sex and giving blood.
"Then, he explained how vampires worked. They always had their fangs and had to bite the neck to feed. They were also capable of compelling mortals, but they had to make eye contact, and it didn't always last. They never aged, their features became more glorious, their strength and speed became supreme, and were easily killed with wood. That's why he had chosen me. He had found out a way to fix their many flaws.
"I would become the perfect vampire. I would be able to control my fangs, be able to control the blood flow of my victim's bite wound, I only needed to use a certain tone of voice to compel someone- with it staying permanently I could only die from the daggar he had used on Analexia and being burned by fire, and I would be the only one to handle the daggar. Surprisingly, I was thrilled to be able to do all this.
"After three years of training and practicing some battle moves at a slower rate, Javier pernounced me able to go through the change. Normally, you were only able to become a vampire by dying with their blood in your digestive system. This time, because of such a change of the vampire breed, Javier had to feed me his heart, and sacrifice himself. I did as I was told."
Lium took in a deep breath, nearing the end of his story. "I still had a few of their smaller flaws. I was only able to come into a private dwelling if invited inside, but unlike them, I was able to come in any other time- which Javier liked this flaw, and I was able to control dreams like them, but a little longer than them. Although, if I kept practicing long enough, I'll gain more time.
"So, eventually I began to change more people so the vampire evolution could spread. Then when there was enough vampires running around in Europe, Russia, and Asia, which was a couple of years ago, I moved here with a fleet of vampires." After a pause, he went on. "Any questions?" Rain nodded slowly. "I do, but they're more of for after I tell you my story." Rain swallowed as she thought of what he was. Then another question came to mind. "Wait, why are you always so hot?" she asked. Lium cocked an eyebrow. Rain blushed and slapped him softly on his chest. "Not that way!" she laughed.
Lium grinned and responded eerily, "I've heard some rumors from the others... They say that because I ate Javier's heart while it was 'still beating'", he used his fingers to gesture that it didn't actually happen, "he's still alive inside of me, and so two people produce more heat than one." He shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal. Rain made a "not bad" face, then stood. "I feel like taking a shower before I share my story, if you don't mind."
Lium looked up at her and rested his arm across the bed. "Better hurry up, or else I'll join you!" Rain rolled her eyes playfully and walked to the bathroom doors, and paused. "What about my clothes?" she asked awkwardly. Lium looked at the shredded clothing that were on the floor of the foot of his bed. "I guess you'll have to go without them!" he smirked. Seeing the seriousness on Rain's face and he sighed an over-exaggerating sigh. "Fine... the closet has your clotehs you packed and then some. Just wrap yourself up in a towel and get changed in there; leaving the door open is your choice, which, if I dare say, would be a very good choice."
Rain shook her head at him and closed the double doors. When she untangled herself from the sheets, she poked her head out one fo the doors and threw it at him, quickly tucking herself back inside. Even though he wasn't paying attention, Rain knew Lium caught it.
