Rain woke up still curled in a ball under her covers. She stood and slivered out from under them. At first she forgot all of what happened yesterday, pure joy making her smile as close to what a cat could smile. Not slowly, but in a sudden whack, her memory came back to her. What have I gotten myself into... She looked at her feminist for guidance. Maybe, like he said, you could make some fun out of this...? She wasn't very helpful. Rain changed back into human and sat with her legs crossed. She looked at her alarm clock. 7 o' clock. Two more hours until she needed to be at work.

Might as well start getting ready... She glumly stood and padded into the kitchen. She opened her freezer and picked out two chocolate chip Ego waffles, and tossed them in the pop up toaster. As she waited, she poured herself a glass of orange juice and got out her iPhone 4S to surf Facebook with. 5 minutes later, the waffles dinged and popped up. Grabbing a plate, Rain walked over to the toaster.

Quickly, she finished eating and went to her closet. She grabbed her Miss Me's and her plaid shirt, and quickly put them on. She looked out the door that lead to er small, stoned balcony. Luckily for her worries, it had its blinds closed, so no peeping mystery man could peep through it. She walked over to her bathroom and brushed her teeth and hair, and sprayed some of her Interesting Strawberry spray on herself. Then, she went back to the closet and couldn't decide to wear her gray Converse- which she ordered them specifically to have her tattoo on their outer part of their sides- or her dark gray Ugg boots. She went with the Uggs after several minutes.

She shuffled over to the living room and turned on the T.V. She glanced at the clock. 8:20, okay I still have time to watch the recording of How I Met Your Mother. She clicked recordings and then the show she missed last night. It was pretty much the same as the others, different jokes of course. Ted searching for the mother of his children, and Barney... well, he continued to get in some dumb bitch's panties. Rain laughed along at some of the jokes, but not full heartily. She had told him where she worked! What if he shows up? It's one of the late nights...

Eventually, her phone went off, saying that it was time to go to work. She grabbed it and her keys, then opened the door, cautiously. Nothing. She sighed with relief and closed it behind her, then locked it. She trotted down the stairs to her car and quickly got in. Good. He locked it. She ignited the engine, put it in reverse, backed up, then to drive, and drove slowly though the apartment complex. Once she got to the turn to the road that led to 380, she turned on her blinker and waited for a... black jeep to pass... She looked carefully. Oh thank God. It wasn't Lium.

Once she got on the highway, she turned the radio on to 106.1. Oppa Gangnam Style was playing. Rain grinned and sang along to the, well, parts that she could understand. Her favorite of the two was the hey sexy lady part. She sang along to that part full-heartily and bobbed her head to the beat. Sadly, her work was only a 10 minute drive from her apartment, so she had to stop the song once she pulled into her parking space. She took out the keys and grabbed her phone, putting it in her back pocket, and her keys in her hand.

She got out and locked it. When she was inside, she was greeted by the owner, Jimmy, who named the bar-restaurant thing after his mother, who died of eye cancer before he could think of a name. "Hey, Jim Bo!" Rain grinned at him. He was a nice guy, and an incredible boss. Too bad he was already dating someone, who also worked here. Jimmy was about an inch taller than Rain, had dark brown hair and eye, and was very pale, and semi-muscular. Not as much as Lium... She shook her head, trying to clear away the thought. She put on her black, small apron and joined them behind the bar so she could start waitressing. At the moment, there was only one table, which was being served by Jim Bo's girlfriend, Leila.

Leila had long, curly blonde hair, gray eyes, and was four foot eleven. Rain frowned as she thought What does he see in her? She wasn't jealous, but she just couldn't see why he liked her so much. Honestly, she didn't have a very good personality. She had slept with 3 other guys in their 9 month dating period, yet he still kept her. Again, Rain shook her head.

Around 11 o' clock, more customers came in to eat. Rain had served three tables already when she saw the back of someone who seemed familiar. When she went behind the bar again to fill up a younger customer's Sprite (probably 10 years old) she was able to get a good look at him. She groaned inwardly. It was him. And he was at her assigned tables! She furrowed her eyebrows and stared at him, speechless for a few moments, until Jimmy came over to her. "Something wrong?" he asked as he glanced over at Lium. "No... nothing that you'll be able to take care of without hurting yourself." Rain shook her head as she replied.

"Well if you need help with anything, I'll kick him out for you." Jim looked at Rain, then Lium and walked towards a customer at the bar wanting more Budweiser. Rain took in a deep breath and dropped the drink off at the desired table, then, with her orders notepad and pen ready, stalked towards Lium's table.

In the most hate filled voice she could muster, Rain came up beside Lium and said, "Hello, sir, and welcome to Francy's. What would you like to drink?" Lium looked up at her and grinned. She thought it looked almost evil. "Oh, um, may I please have a...." He looked at the drink menu, as if purposefully making Rain impatient. "a.... sweet, iced tea please?" He winked at her, obviously ordering what she had last night. Rain scowled. "And an appetizer?" Lium shook his head. "None for me, thank you." Rain straightened her back, nodded, and went to get his drink, checking on her other tables as she went along.

By the time she brought his drink back, it had been 10 minutes. Lium looked up at her, mock anger tinting his voice, "Well, about bloody time you brought it over." He reached for his cup as she was setting it down. "I apoligize, sir, but we have a full house at the moment. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Would you like some icecream, on the house?" she hissed at him through her teeth. Lium put his hands up in surrender slightly, and chuckled at her, "Touchy touchy... and no, I would not like icecream. I watching my figure you know." He winked at her.

He was wearing another Under Armour shirt, this time Maroon, and beige cargo pants again. She glanced at the muscles that connected the tops of his shoulders to his neck, which were bulging out of the shirt, and at his biceps, which were also extremely large. She flushed again, and immediatly got angry at herself. "Have you thought of something you'd like to eat?" she ignored his previous statement. "Um, yes." He glanced at the menu, yet again. "I'll have your Fettucini Alfreso, please." Rain tilted her head and narrowed her eyes, both showing that the word seriously? was on her mind.

Sharply taking in a breath, she curtly replied with, "Coming right up." and turned on her heel. She stormed over to the bar and went to the ordering window in the wall behind it. "Futtucini Alfredo, please!" she yelled into it and put the ordering paper on a small clip on a metal wire. She went to check on her other two tables.

Once his food was finished, Rain went to the window and picked up the plate. She hurriedly went over to his table, because the plate was very hot, enough to burn normal humans' hands, so she had to pretend it hurt hers. When she set it down infront of him, she sarcasticly said, "Watch out, the plate is very hot!" and was about to stalk off when Jimmy called to her: "Rain! It's your lunch break!" She grinned. Now someone else has to deal with this douche.

She felt Lium grab her arm. "Sit down." he ordered in a quiet, commanding voice. As if hypnotized, Rain swiftly sat in the chair that was on his left. "So, how did you sleep?" he asked after a few moments of silence. "Fine thank you." she mumbled moodily. "Well, that's good." He grinned at her as he chewed another bite. Jeez! He's almost done already! She looked at his plate in awe. It only had two bites left! Rain quickly turned her head to the small stage they used for live performances.

She sighed and stood. "I need to eat." Lium quickly stood also, already finished. "Alright. I needed to leave anyways. He was looking at her arm. It was slightly swollen and purple. He grabbed it softly and let out a slightly long, deep breath through his nose. Rain ignored it. "Why did you come here in the first place?" She glared at him. "To make sure you weren't leaving, of course." He slowly kissed her forehead and informed her, "I'll see you in two days, Blue Eyes." and walked toward the front door.
