Joshua pulled into a gravel driveway and stopped behind a two-story log cabin. It was the size of a smaller, normal house. It was completely surrounded by woods and wildlife. I'll enjoy this. Rain grinned to herself and morphed back into her human self once Steve stepped out of the car, carrying a defeated Fury. She supposed that he didn't like the idea of having to be carried.

They all walked inside through the garage, and put Nick on the couch. Before anyone could leave to search for first aid, Joshua bit into his own arm and held it to Fury's mouth, making him swallow the pouring blood. Rain jumped onto him in her wolf, causing Joshua to fall on the ground. She snarled in his face, holding him down by the shoulders.

What do you think you're doing? Lium said that's how you turn somebody! She bit the air infront of his nose out of anger. Joshua only looked at her calmly, replying in a soothing voice, "That is true... but it also heals their wounds." He grabbed her left arm, caressing it with butterfly like touches. "You should try it some time. It works wonders."

Rain wasn't paying attention. She was looking out a nearby window, eyes wide and ears perked. There are other wolves here! She whined happily and dashed to the back door, wagging her tail and waiting for someone to open the door. She was visibly shaking.

Joshua flashed over to the door, opening it. Rain took off running. "I guess she won't be saying goodbye to her friends." Fury and Steve's movement towards the door to the garage caught Joshua's eye.

Rain skidded to a halt, throwing chunks of soil up into the air with her paws. She turned around and ran back inside. Once she saw Steve's back in the doorway, she jumped and turned human midair. Rain landed on his back in a piggy-back position.

"I'll see you soon! I could Skype you some time." she squealed  her voice muffled by his suit. "I'll put Tony's mask on so it's quiet enough to hear me." Rodgers checkled and set Rain down. He turned around and grinned at her. "You better stay safe. We can't have our new member dying on us." He shook his head, chuckling. "Now go have fun with those wolves."

Rain hugged Steve again, and nodded at Fury, who looked much better. She turned to Joshua and said, so quiet that only his sharp ears could pick up, "Thank you."

He was looking away from them all, and when she spoke her thanks, he slowly turned his gaze to focus on her. Gradually, he blinked and nodded. She grinned and glanced at the now empty door. She then continued to the back door.

Rain jumped into the air, back as a wolf. She followed the tingling pull farther into the wooded area. I wonder where this is taking me... She didn't really care, to be honest. She enjoyed flitting through the dying underbrush, the rich and colorful leaves passing over her. She aslo loved hearing them crinkle beneath her.

She pulled to a stop, feeling the tingling, much stronger, envelope around her. She peered around at the bushes and coniferous trees. A leaf cracked next to her, making her jump. She could hear the low growls of the large wolves around her. Rain was unable to see them, but knew they thought she was trespassing. I can relate...

She knelt on her front elbows, lowering her snout and tucking her tail under her hindquarters. At her move of submission, a hulk of a wolf stepped out. It was at least five feet tall, four wide, and six feet long. It had light gray fur that blended into black on its back. Its sapphire eyes were plastered with curioustiy and caution.

His voice rung inside of Rain's mind, making her twitch her ears. Stand female. Are you wolf? Rain obeyed, but answered his question by  growing larger. Although, she remained a foot shorter than him. She knew that she was outnumbered and on their turf.
