"Axel, I am going to kill you!"

"You don't have to. They are going to do it for you!"

Here they are, in the middle of nowhere. Deep inside a forest. Their arms are wrapped around a tall tree. They stand there, helpless and weak. The Monsters are slowly approaching them, ready to eat them.

But wait! You are probably thinking, who are they? What are they doing in the middle of nowhere? Who are these Monsters? Well, let's take things from the beginning.

It all started when their mother, Samantha Robinson was pregnant with two baby twins. After their birth, both parents named them Roxanne & Axel Robinson. The twins were so different from each other. They had nothing in common, only their personalities of course. Not only that but they didn't look anything like their parents too. Nobody would describe them as their parents because they were so different.

The twins have the same eye colour. Blue, just like the colour of a river on a sunny day. The girl's hair is bleach blond and she always have them in a long ponytail. The boy's hair on the other hand is pitch black and you could get lost in them only by looking at them.

Both of them were loners and didn't have friends. They were so protective to each other though. If a twin was in danger, the other needed to help and fast. They usually spend their free time in the library, reading books of mythical creatures and monsters.

Their parents always felt something special about them. People were always afraid of them. They didn't know why. The twins became close people to the real world from a young age. They couldn't help but questioning their own selves too.

Other than that, their life was basically normal, for now at least.

"Why did we even come to this bar? Both of us don't drink." Roxanne asked her brother when they approached the bar.

"Because, Noah told me to meet him here. He has something important to tell us." Axel opened the door.

The bar was dark. The lights were off, you could only see the moon, lighting up the place in front of a big window. Axel searched the place to find him.

"There he is." He said walking towards Noah who was sitting on a table already drinking his drink. Roxanne followed.

"Hey guys!" Noah said happily.

"Noah, how much did you drink?" Roxanne sat on the chair next to him, Axel followed right after.

"Relax, it's my first glass." Roxanne rolled her eyes already annoyed by the other boy.

"So, what do you want to tell us?" Axel said, looking into the other boy's eyes, giving him a curious look.

"Oh, nothing. It was a trap to make you guys come here." Noah explained, smirking as he took a sip of his drink.

"What the fuck, Noah!" Roxanne was in rage, her cheeks were red from anger.

"Relax, you two need to have fun sometimes, the only thing that both of you do is reading, boring."

Axel was about to speak but he was cut off by the bartender.

"What would you like?" He said with a smile on his face.

"Nothing. We are actually leaving." Roxanne said standing up from her seat. Axel grabbed her by the wrist.

"We could stay here for a while. Besides tomorrow is Saturday, even if we get drunk, we won't have school the next day." Axel said with a soft voice that made her calm down.

"Alright, fine." She sighed.

Time passed quickly. It was already 01:05 at midnight. Even though the twins didn't drink as much as Noah they felt dizzy. Too much alcohol to handle. Finally Axel spoke after a long silence.

"We should get going, my head hurts." He stood up.

"No! Let's stay here!" Roxanne was a mess. Her curly hair became busy from all the sweat.

"No, unfortunately not." Axel grabbed her by her arm and walked towards the door. Roxanne was fighting.

"Don't tell me what to do!" She yelled. Everybody turned their heads to their direction. Axel didn't care. He simply picked her up and walked out of the bar.

"What the fuck, Axel!" Roxanne screamed and Axel put her down.

"Come on, you are a mess, let's go home." He said taking her hand and leading them to his car.

Suddenly he heard something. He turned around. Roxanne did the same after the second sound.

"What's that?" She said, her hands were shaking.

"I don't know."

"Should we check?" Axel was about to answer but he was cut off again by a voice.

"We are not going to hurt you." The voice said but there was no one there. Axel walked into the dark hallway and Roxanne followed.

The hallway wasn't big and their faces met the wall in front of them. Dead end. The voice spoke once again.

"Please, let us talk." They both turned around.

Three tall men were standing on the other side. They couldn't see their faces. It was like they didn't even have faces. Both of them panicked. They were cornered and the men started walking towards them.

"Stay away!" Axel said, his voice high and he was in front of his sister, protecting her.

"We are going to talk." The man in the middle said. They were only inches away from the twins. Axel gave a warning look. Roxanne now was standing beside him.

"Who are you?" She said with a soft voice that Axel wasn't expecting it.

"It doesn't matter. We need to talk to you."

"Over my dead body." Axel said showing his teeth for comfort.

The three men didn't wait any longer. "Then we would have to do it with the hard way." One of them said. They approached and grabbed them both by their hands. Axel was fighting, Roxanne was calm and didn't move, allowing them to hold her tighter even more.

"What the hell!" Axel yelled but no one could hear him. The two men that were holding them stopped. The third man was in front of them. Holding a towel and handing it towards their mouth. Slowly darkness came and both of them collapsed on the ground.
