Samantha's P.O.V
Today is the day that I will meet the mother and the parents of the other kids that they went missing. I know for a fact that they have to do something with my kids. They might be my only chance after all, I have nothing to lose.
I was walking towards the Birdly Park, where we will meet. When I got there I saw a man and a woman sitting on a bench. The woman was resting her head on the man's shoulder. The man was comforting her, even though it wasn't working.
They reminded me of Tom and I, almost everyday.
"Hello." I said and they looked up. The woman started to calm down and slowly stood up to greet me.
"Hi, you must be Samantha? We talked on the phone." She said while swiping off some of her tears.
"Yes, I am. I'm so sorry for your loss." I said and shook her hand.
"I'm so sorry for yours too." She said and sat down again. This time the man stood up.
"Hi, I'm Edgeworth and this is my wife, Luna," He looked at her and back at me. "sorry she is not being the same after our kid went missing." I nodded and said.
"I know how it is, what's your kid's name?" I sat down at the bench.
"Aaron," He said and gave me a photograph of a little boy with blond hair and black eyes. He looked just like his mother. "he was 16 in this photograph. He changed his hair when he turned 18 into a grey colour."
"He looks just like you." I said and turned into Luna's direction.
"My little boy," She said and looked down at the ground. "after he went missing I promised myself to protect our other child more. Something that I didn't do with Aaron." She burst into tears. Her husband tried to comfort her once again.
"I know how it is. Unfortunately, I don't have any children, only Axel and Roxanne. But both of them went missing and I can't protect anyone else now." She looked at me. Her black eyes filled with tears as they slowly were running on her cheeks. She hugged me and I hugged her back. After that I burst into tears as well.
From the distance, I noticed a woman with red hair and green eyes. Her face was covered with freckles. She soon approached us. Luna pulled back so I could see the other woman better. Edgeworth hugged her. They must be brother and sister since they look the same. The only difference is Edgeworth's eyes, which they were light blue.
"Samantha, this is Esmeralda, my sister." I knew it.
I stood up and pulled a hand out for her to shake. She did and said.
"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm sorry for your kids." Her voice was soft and sad. She sounded sad.
"It's fine really, I'm trying to forget it, but it always comes back."
"I know how it is. You can't really forget it, especially when this person it's the only family member that you have." These words hit me right in my chest. It must be really hard for her. She was her only daughter.
All of us now sat on the bench in silence. I broke it by saying my crazy thoughts about my kids being missing. How I got in track with them because I feel they went missing all together for a reason. To my surprise they thought the same thing. I was glad that I was not the only one because I was starting to feel like a crazy person thinking all this stuff.
"September 4th 2012. The day that my kids went missing. They told me that they would go to this bar. I think it was Jame's Bar? But after that they never came back." I said and everyone's eyes got wide open like I was a monster.
