Chapter 19: Back To Normal

3rd person's P.O.V

Roxanne and Axel opened their eyes. They couldn't move. They were tied up against a tall tree. In front of them thousands of Monsters, they were surrounded by them. The world was in a bad condition. Everything was damaged.

"What's happening?" Roxanne murmured.

"I don't know! Shit!" Axel tried fighting but failed.

"Axel, I am going to kill you!"

"You don't have to. They are going to do it for you!" He was pointing at the monsters that were slowly coming towards them.

"What did you do?!" Roxanne was now yelling at him.

"Nothing! Why are you blaming me? Clearly YOU did something!"

"I did not!" She kicked his leg and he answered by kicking her arms.

"Stop! We need to get out! The monsters are coming!"

Axel thought for a minute before pulling out of his pocket a small, sharp knife. He quickly tried to cut the ropes. He succeeded and got out.

"Here." He said and help Roxanne.

"Thanks." She mumbled.

"What do you think you are doing?" A large spider with red eyes asked sarcastically.

"Trying to kill you, you son of bitches." Axel pulled out a hand pointing at the spider. The black light came from his hand and hit the spider.

"W-what?" Roxanne whispered, Axel smirked and told her to do the same.

After a few minutes they managed to kill every monster it was there.

"Shit. Do you think they work for the Dark Queen?"

"Probably." They started running, not knowing where they were going, just running.

"Axel? Roxanne?" Both of them heard a familiar voice and stopped. It was Sammy! Sammy, the elf that they met when they started this adventure.

"Sammy? What are you doing here?"

"I tried to hide inside my house but some monsters destroyed it. I don't know where to go." His eyes filled with hope when he saw them.

"I'm glad you came back." He smiled and the twins pulled him into a hug. "We need to find the Dark Queen. Do you know where she is?" Sammy pulled out of their hug.

"Yes, I do. Gloria said that we need to stay inside our houses for protection and that she was handing of to The Meridail Castle."

"The...what?" Axel cut him off.

"The Meridail Castle. The Dark Queen's Castle. I can take you there."

"Yes! Please do!" Roxanne felt excitement running over her body. Sammy nodded and lead them to the castle.

Axel felt dizzy seeing the castle up close. "That's it. Good luck. I hope you end this tragedy." He said goodbye to them and walked away from them. Leaving them all alone. They both swallowed hard when the enter the castle.

The first that they saw was Aaron's body. Lying. Just lying there on the floor, in front of the stairs.

"Aaron!" Roxanne screamed and walked up to him. She shook his shoulders. "Aaron, no, Please!" She whispered-yelled.

"Roxanne?" He whispered and Roxanne immediately looked up.

"Aaron?" She gasped.

"No, go to the others! Quick!" Aaron snapped out and managed to say.
