Chapter 18: Thank You

Gray holds her by the cheeks.

"Juvia? Is it really you?" Gray says as he is tearing up.

"Uh, yes. It's me. Juvia. Why are you crying?" Juvia says confused to what is happening.

"Oh on, the bomb! The enemy! We have to sto—" she says as she got cut off by Gray hugging her.

"Y-you"re alive. I thought I lost you." Gray says as he was crying and they were still hugging.

"What do you mean? Juvia is still here."

Then, she finally notices that she was wearing contact lenses, so she tries to remove it.

Because of that, her baby blue eyes is now the same dark eyes that Gray has looked upon for a long time.

The gang suddenly went inside the room. Everyone was relieved that "Jules" is awake.

"Everyone. You're all here. Juvia still needs some rest, though." Juvia said to everybody.

"Huh? Juvia?" Lucy said confusingly.

Then, they stared at Juvia intensely, making Juvia uncomfortable.

They finally saw the dark blue eyes that Juvia has always had and finally realises that Jules Crawford is actually Juvia.

"You're alive!?" Everybody said in unison, shocked about the new information that they're trying to process.

"Yes, so you all thought that Juvia died?" Juvia asked them.

"Yeah, because we saw your corpse when the bomb exploded." Erza explained.

Then, Lloyd suddenly comes in the room.

"Hey, it's that guy that planted the Lacrima bomb!" Natsu says as he puts up his fire fists.

"Please, I mean you no harm. I'm here to explain everything. My name is Lloyd Crawford. I'm here to see Juvia." Lloyd pleaded.

"I don't think so, enemy scum." Gajeel says as he turns his arm into an iron club.

"Wait. Let him talk. I need to know this." Gray stood infant of Lloyd. Then, he turns around with an angry face saying,

"You better tell a great explanation becuase we saw Juvia's body after the explosion and—" he was interrupted by Lloyd saying,

"That body you saw was a dummy made by me." He said.

"I found Juvia's unconscious body and carried her to my home." Lloyd explained.

"I took care of her when she needed medical attention. But, because she had amnesia, she doesn't remember me or Fairy Tail, so I gave her that get up to..." he said as his voice became softer.

"To what? Keep her for yourself?" Gray says angrily as he lifts him top with his clothes.

"To replace for my dead daughter." Lloyd finally said.

Everyone was surprised about that he said.

"What are you talking about?" Levy asked him.

"My daughter, Jules, died when that giant cube that floated on Magnolia attacked. And she was one of the unfortunate ones." He explained.

"So, when she died, I blamed it on your guild that she died because your guild sworn that they will protect Magnolia on whoever attacks it."

Everyone was beginning to get sad over the story except for Gray, simply because of what Lloyd did, he thought that Juvia was gone.
