Chapter 21: Forever Part 2

They finally ordered food, some expensive-looking food, and just had a long conversation, enjoying every bit of it.

They laughed, listened to their stories until the moment. They were having a great time, but Gray knows that this will be their best night of their lives.

Gray ordered some champagne for the both of them.

"Whats the occasion? Why are we having champagne?" She asked him.

"You're finally back after one year, of course that's a time to celebrate." He answers with a bright smile, making Juvia blush a little bit. But what she doesn't know is that Gray asked the owner if they can hide the ring inside the glass where she would drink the champagne.

After waiting for a short time, their waiter got their champagne.

Gray got the bottle out of the waiter's hands.. "Please, let me do it. It's for my girl." He looks at 

Juvia with that handsome look, making Juvai blush even more and trying to hide it by covering ti with her hands.

He pours them the drink, trying to make Juvia not notice the ring in the glass.

He raises his drinks, making a toast.. "To you, Juvia. For coming back to Fairy Tail, coming to me." That made Juvia blush a little bit.

They clinked their drinks and drank the champagne. But Juvia notices that the whole gang, including Jellal, went inside the restaurant, carrying a white paper of some sort. Then, she notices that there was something in the drink as it got into her mouth.

"What the...?" She grabs it out of her mouth and sees a diamond ring. Making her a bit confused to what is happening. Then, a violin player came out and played some romantic music. Gray stood up and kneeled down and held her hand. In that moment, Juvia finally realised dance covered her mouth.

Lucy and Erza opened the banner and had a text, saying. 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?' Seeing that banner made Juvia was crying out of sheer happiness. Tears of joy. And then, Gray spoke.

"Juvia, I know this was probably a little too early, but ever since we moved in together, just being together in general, i know that you were the one." Gray takes the ring from Juvia. "In fact, I was going to propose to you after the job was over last year. But since you were gone, not dead, I always thought about you, I never looked for another woman because there is one thing that they don't have that you have. Making me happy."

Juvia was basically sobbing at this point. "So, Juvia Locksar. Will you marry me?" Gray was shedding some tears as well.

She nods happily. "Yes. YES!" She shouted.

That made Gray happier than ever. He puts the ring in her left ring finger, kisses her on the lips and hug her.Everyone, including the strangers that were in the restaurant, were clapping and cheering on.

In the middle of that, Lucy pouted and whispered to herself,

"I wish Natsu can be this romantic."

Natsu creeped in her left shoulder and whispered in her ear,

"Do you want the same proposal?"

That made Lucy bright red, just thinking about Natsu proposing to her.

She pushed him away by pushing his face near her face and said,

"You better." He gives her his signature grin.

"I promise that I'll be good to you." Hearing that made her blush even more.

After that, everyone gathered around Gray and Juvia, congratulating them that they are engaged.

Even though it was over, Juvia was still letting out tears of joy, knowing that she is engaged to the one she loves for a long time.

"You still crying, Juvia?" Levy took the napkin from the table and wiped Juvia's tears.

"It's just that Juvia is marrying my one true love." She said as she is still crying. "Juvia has been dreaming this for a long time."

Lucy gestured to do a group hug and every girl joined in.

"We all know that you'll take care of her." Lucy muffled as they were still hugging.

Meanwhile, form the boys, everyone was patting Gray's back and congratulating him that he finally did it.

"Finally, you proposed. I know you had it in you." Gajeel exclaimed.

"Yeah, and you better take care of her." Natsu said.

"Of course, and when will you three make the move, eh?" Gray said with a smirk on his face.

Natsu, Gajeel, and Jellal were blushing a little bit and looked away from Gray.

They were speaking at the same time, but they were saying something completely different and 

Gray didn't understand anything what they said and just gave them a nervous smile. So, he went to the girls to find his fiancée.

"Where's—" he was cut himself off when he saw Juvia, finally stopped crying and has the brightest smile on her face. That made Gray smile as well.

"There she is." He pulls her out of the group and brought her closer to his face until they were looking at each other, face to face, only inches away.

"I promise you that I will take care of you and protect you with all my life." He said ever so softly. That made Juvia tear up.

"Juvia will do the same thing to you too." She replied.

Then, their went closer to each other and gave a very passionate kiss, making the other girls jealous to see Juvia but mostly, be proud of her because she is with her one true love. Some of them also teared up.

After the celebration was over, they checked out, everyone was waiting outside for them and then, they finally went home.

The gang went home, waving at the couple.

Then, out of nowhere, Gray picks up Juvia bridal style. Juvia was surprised about what is happening.

"Gray-sama, what are you doing?" She asks.

"Bringing my future wife home." He says with a great smile on his face. That made Juvia smile as well.

She hugs him tightly while going home. "Juvia promises that she'll never let go." She said softly.

"I know you won't. And I promise that I'll never let you go either." They arrived at their apartment and Gray put Juvia down.

And now the magic happens.
