epilogue

-two years later-

"...has it really been that long?"

"Just about, yeah." 

"You'll think she'll be mad we didn't come and see her sooner?" 

Jacob smiles. "Of course not," He says. "Especially when she sees this little guy." Jacob says before gesturing down to a little boy who had his little fist tightly gripped onto Jacob's finger. 

They were now standing in front of the pack house door and Troye was bouncing anxiously from side to side. "I can't," He says before looking over at Jacob. "You do it." 

"Goodness, Mason come here." He says picking up the little boy and placing him on his hip. 

He knocks on the door and after about two minutes the door swings open. On the other side was Raven. He hair was cut short but still pulled back into her signature ponytail... she looked older. Not only did she look older but on her hand was a ring. 

"Oh my god," Raven says looking at the two of them. "Oh my god, come here... give me a hug." 

Troye instantly wrapped her arms around Raven laughing while doing so. Once they pulled away she looked down and noticed how Troye's stomach was slightly rounded. "You're pregnant..." She then looks over at Jacob and the little boy he was holding. "Again?" 

"This is Mason." Jacob says.

"It's really been awhile," Raven says. "Well come in." 

When the couple walked into the house they were surprised to see that nothing has changed. Jacob had put Mason down when they walked in and the second he did Mason grabbed onto his fathers leg and didn't let go.

"Where is everyone?" Jacob says. 

"With their families thanks to you and the council," Raven says sitting down. "We're all still a pack but with no threat there is no need for us to constantly be together.

"Troye, Jacob you're here!" Lily says running down the stairs with Ria following close behind. 

She runs over to Troye and hugs him before giving Jacob a side hug. "And who is this little dude." The beta says turning to the little boy.

"This is Mason," Jacob says. "Say 'hi' May." 

The little boy rubs his eye with one fist and waves with the other. "H-hi." He says, as he did Lily noticed that he had a little nub where his tail would be... it kind of reminded her of a rabbit. 

"So what's been going on."

"Honestly," Raven says. "Nothing. We've had a few run ins with wild and rogue wolves some hunting packs but everything has been smooth-."

"I meant personally Rave," Jacob said. "I hear enough about werewolf problems working with the council. I noticed you have a pretty nice rock on your finger."

"Heh, I did it maybe three months ago. It was probably the most nerve wracking thing I've ever done. You should have seen me, I was so nervous."

Ria laughs. "I honestly thought she was going to go into her wolf form because she was so nervous."

Raven rolls her eyes. "Zayden was here last week... he's got a girlfriend now. She's human and her name is Bri,"

"Does she-."

"Yeah, it took her awhile to accept it but eventually she did... after she realized it wasn't like Twilight that is."

Troye looked up. "What about your mom?"

"According to the council she's not here," Raven says. "They said they are going to contact someone in the states that's working on getting the omegas free but that could take another two years."

"We're going to find her Rave." Jacob says. 

"Yeah I know, but what about you two?"

"Well..." Troye started. "Jacob's dad was released but is under extreme watch. His mom is currently living with us as well as his sister which either of us mind. My mom is with my dad and my sister was killed the second she was taken."

Raven frowned. "I'm sorry." 

"I'm glad to at least have some of my family back."

It was silent for a moment before Ria decided to speak up. "Since you guys are here," She says. "And it might take another crisis to see one another how do you feel about going out to eat?"

Troye looked over at Jacob. "I think we can do that."

"Yeah," Jacob says. "Yeah we can."

after several month long hiatuses and me wanting to just not finish this book at all it's finally over.
