I sat cuffed down in my chair as Batman and Nightwing stood before me. Batman stood stiffly as Nightwing stood with his arms crossed glaring at me. "Okay look I know your pissed but you gonna have to talk to us if you want to fix this," Nightwing sighed taking a seat across from me.

I rolled my eyes at him "I don't have to fix anything your people caused this mess and so your going to be the one to clean it up," I scoff. I saw Nightwing grip the edge of the table in annoyance.

"Agitated already and here I thought Batman trained you so well goldenboy," I provoke. Nightwing stood aggressively and leaned over the table to get in my face. The white lids of his mask narrow telling me he was glaring at me.

"You don't know anything," He growled pathetically. I smirk and lean forward leaving just an inch of space "You'd be surprised what you hear in Gotham. It's one thing to know the darkness but it's another to be born in in it," I grin. "Isn't that right Batman" I muse darkly.

I see a dark scowl cross Batman's face "Out." His dark voice demands. I only grin at Nightwing's confused face "What?!?" He gaps. "Out don't make me say it again," He growled. Nightwing's lips shut tightly as he made his way out of the room. "You've done screwed yourself now," He muttered as he left the room.

I brush off what he said knowing full well what I just did. I was cut out of my thoughts when hands slammed onto the table and as I glanced at them I notice the dents they have caused. "Impressive," I muse.

"You need to tell me all I need to know right now," He demanded. I looked up at him unamused and unimpressed and even though I have no idea what information they want from me I just shook my head grinning away.

His scowling face only darkened as he gripped my shirt bring my face closer to mine. "Answer me!" He snarled. For once my face got serious as I looked him square in his white lidded eyes "You think your scary don't you?" I asked calmly.

His eyes narrowed at my question but I strained a painful grin as I forced the sentence out of my mouth "But I've seen scary,". I forced a laugh out even though it felt like it's burning my throat as it came, the memory of his laugh and grin entered my mind as I spoke "And you don't have his smile,".

I watched as those white lidded eyes of his scrowl widen. He dropped me in my seat and backed away, it was silent after that. He didn't say a word as he turned and left the room with a dramatic turn of his cape. I watched as he left and I didn't laugh, or giggle, or even breath as I did so.

But when he left...God, when he left I felt the wetness trickle down my cheeks. Not a sound came out of me as I used my hair to cover my crying face knowing that those damned police are watching and listening to me beyond that hidden glass.

His grin, and laugh, and the sound of Rand all flooded my memory. I felt that familiar sting in back where he left his poisonous mark. I hiss slightly and bite my lip to keep quite but I curse as I hear the door open. I glance threw the stands of my hair to see familiar black and white fur with a pair of ice blue eyes.

"Rand?" I gasp as I flick my hair out of my crying face to get a good look at him. I grin as a few soft sobs escape my lips as I see it's him and completely untouched. "Hey! Hey darling!" I laugh and I move to pet him but I was jerked back by the chains.

I continue to jerk forward just to get my hands on him but after a few times two police men came in and grabbed Rand. "NO!NO! DON'T TAKE HIM! I'LL BE GOOD! I'LL BE GOOD! JUST DON'T TAKE HIM!" I scream as I continued to jerk at my chains.

Rand growled and snarled at them but they wore large pads so that every time Rand did land a bite them it was un-noticed. I cried as they dragged him out of the room and slammed the door on the way out. I sobbed loudly completely broken and numb all at once.

It only took a few seconds to realize why they let him in, to break me, and they did. They had won. It didn't take long for them to realize that as the door opened yet again only for a person to step threw. I watched as Red Hood stepped threw the door and sat across from me.

I didn't glare, or scream, or even blink as he sat down. I sat the numbly as my blood shocked, brown eyes looked down at the table. "I assume you know you won. What? Did you want to hear me say it before you start asking me your questions?" I said sourly.

When I didn't hear a response I looked up at him and almost gasp as I saw his helmet off to the side and in front of me was a man with red domino mask. He had black hair with one, little streak of white in the vary front.

He looked at me for a moment before he reached his gloved hand forward. I assumed the worse in my broken state, All I was running off of was instinct, reflex, and adrenaline. I flinched back and his hand froze and pulled back slightly but continued forward.

The worn leather of his glove grazed against the top of my cheek bone wiping away the running tears before wiping away just under my eyes, to remove the running mascara and eyeliner. I hiccupped slightly as I tried to even my breathing from all the crying.

"So" he started once he pulled away. I look up and met his white lidded eyes "You're the kid they call Anubis?"
