After the Christmas ball came new years. The new years was far more extravagant  but I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the Christmas ball. But soon enough school came calling and here we are now.

I dressed myself properly after showering. I didn't sleep at all because of the excitement, Jason said he was pretty good at school so if he could pass school I could too. I walked out of my room only to meet a flash. I stumble back a moment and once my vision clears I  see a grinning Jason, Roy, and Kori.

I sent the three of them an unamused look as I  look at the camera in Jason's hands. I push threw them and grab the bag Tim got me. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket as I slip on my shoes. I look at the screen to see it was a message from Damian  telling me he is waiting out front.

"Bye Jason!" I call into the house as Rand and I walked to the street. I hear a muffled bye from three voices as I shut the apartment door. Rand and I trotted down to the lobby where Damian stood his backpack slung over his shoulder.

I smile as he lead me to the car. "Good morning Alfred." I greet, "good morning miss Citlali." he greeted back. Damian opened the door for Rand and I before climbing in himself. The ride to school was quite but as soon as we made it to the gate is was all chatter from there.

As soon as Damian held the door open the car door for me the whispers began. Nosie elites just cant keep their noise to themselves. Damian, I've noticed, is anti-social. So he wrapped an arm around my waste as he guided me threw the halls to the office then to all my classes.

All the students seemed to be rather tense around not only Damian but Rand as well, even though he was all tail wags and chirpy barks.  Our first class is English and thanks to Tim I knew exactly what we were learning.

Damian and I had the majority of our classes together but the few we didn't I was kinda nervous. Third period was one of the two classes Damian and I didn't share which means that Damian and I might not have the same lunch.

When he found out he threw a silent fit and simply said he would handle it, which I could only assume meant he would change his classes around. My third class is my history class, which happens to be my best subject.

I sat in the back of the class like every other mysterious new girl. With Rand and Damian at my side classes have been easy to get threw but this class I'm one guy short and the girls around me took quick notice.

They circled around me slightly and I pretended not to notice for the sake of their petty pride. I glance at each one, Two of them I recognized via Bruce's failed introduction but the others I didn't have a damn clue who they were.

I kept to myself as the class started it went somewhat smooth besides for their poor attempts to get under my skin. but then the lunch bell rang, I made a B-line to the cafeteria. In the cafeteria I grabbed my lunch and looked for a table.

I seen an empty spot but as I made my way over it I felt a foot hook mine causing me to trip. My tray went across the floor but none of it landed on me. I glare at the person who tripped as she looked at me smugly. The girl just so happened to be the plastic bitch from the mall.

Rand growled lowly but I whistle, quickly dismissing him. The bitch smiled smugly and stuck her noise in the air. She held a container of god knows what and as she held in over my head ready to dump, but the door to the cafeteria shot open.

To my relief Damian stood in the entrance with his usual hostile glare. The entire room flushed with hushed whispers as Damian's eyes landed on mine. For a second they softened but once he came to a realization of my situation they instantly hardened.

Damian stalked all the way over to us and stood tall in front of the girl. The girl did her best to sputter out some excuse but her hands shook as she still held out the container. Damian smacked the container out of her hand.

The girl yelped and quickly drew her hand back. "You should know that I will not tolerate any kind of disrespect to Citlali." He muttered darkly. The girl nodded quickly and without another word Damian lifted to my feet and dragged me to a open table.

"you shall be sitting with me from now on." he ordered. I smile at him gratefully "Sure thing Damian." I grin. I see his green eyes soften as the look at me "Your such a pain beloved." He sighed but I could tell he didn't mean it.

"But I'm your pain." I grin, Damian roughly grabbed my hand before 'tt' and looking away with a red face. However, the bell rang and we had to get back to class. After lunch Damian had our next two classes together before I got separated into gym and he went to art.

Like Bruce had suggested I did track and field. Needless to say the coach was impressed. By the time I changed out of my gym clothes and made it the front, Damian was already waiting. I grin over at him as pulled me to the art room where he had his final period.

The two students that stayed there looked at us as we walked in. They quickly went back to work on whatever they had been working on. Damian dragged me over to a little area and on it was canvas.

"This is my project I turned in before we left on break. I just got it back today with a note my teacher want's to display it in our local art gallery." He said softly. I looked at the canvas as Damian pulled off the small cover he had on it.

I gasp as I look at it. It was me, Coming down the stairs at my debut ball, golden dress and all. I look over at him as he stood stiffly with his hands in his pocket. "I love it. You did a vary good job." I grin.

Damian sent me a small smile with his soft green eyes. Damian covered the piece up before we actually decided to meet Alfred at the gate. "You know..." I muse as we walk threw the court yard.

"What Beloved?" He asked as he held the door open for me. "I really like this school thing." I grin as I climbed in "I'm glade beloved." Damian whispered in reply.
