I look over at Nikkita but my eyes widen as I watched a costume clade Damian Wayne step out of the shadows. I wave for the boy to bring another chair and  he sat it to my right. Damian sat in the chair as I leaded over to his ear.

"I didn't know you brought your uniform?" I whisper. " I bring my uniform everywhere Anubis." He whispered back. I nodded my head understanding why. "someone reported the gun shots and screams. The police are on their way. Father should be here any minute." He whispered.

I groan and nodded. "Well people it seems our time is going to be cut short. So if you would... clear a path way to the door." I announced. The pathway was quickly made and I Made a clear shot to the door knocking it open.

People poured out in screams and I smirk as I watch Batman pull up. I look over at the three I kept safe. "Nikkita," I addressed and I watched as she waited for my next sentence. "I think you'll be seeing a of more of me." I grin before waving her to leave.

I waved for her to leave as well as the other girl. "Alright dude got one more task for you." I sigh. I pointed to Sarah on the floor "Carry her out will you. She looks like she's going to throw up and I don't want that on my carpet." I scoff.

The guy nodded and quickly heaved her over her shoulder. "Don't be afraid to drop her!" I call out as he rushed out the door as Batman stepped in. He gave me the Bat glare and I sent him one right back.

He opened his mouth to say something but I spoke out first. "Before you go one to lecture us I didn't kill anyone. Your son made sure I didn't and don't you say I had no right to do that to her because I'm sure your well aware of all the shit she caused me." I snap.

He continues to glare as Redhood stepped threw the door. He let out a impressed whistle as he looked around the trashed area. His head looked up at the multiple bullet holes in the sealing. "She's not wrong." He butted in as he pointed to them.

I watched as the flashing red and blue lights flash in the streets. Batman passed me a black mask. "Oh hell no." I snapped, "Your connected to us now. You could put us all in danger." Batman growled.

"I could always cut ties." I rebutted. Jason stepped forward "Kid put on the mask." He said. My eyes widen, even Jason was in one this. "Please if Clark Kent can get away with taking off a pair of glasses what makes you think this will do anything. People are really  fucking stupid these days." I snap.

"Plus the majority of these kids were drunk and those who weren't are probably too scared to say anything," I say. Batman scrawled at me. "Fine." He snapped, He tossed Damian a set of keys "Robin take her home." I watched as Damian's eyes widen.

A smug grin crossed his face as he took my arm and lead me out of the building. He shielded me from the police as we hurried to the batmobile. Rand jumped into the car and I picked up the slightly smaller dog that couldn't.

I climbed in myself as Damian took to the wheel. "You know how to drive right?" I ask slightly unsure. "TT" was his response "Of course I do." he tisked before pulling away from the building. The drive was silent all the way until he stooped at the apartment.

"Can you come in with me?" I asked softly. Damian turned his head to face me but said nothing a he parked the mobile in the alleyway. Damian opened the top and we all got out and walked into the apartment building.

As soon as we got inside I kicked off my shoes and walked to my room. I fell onto my bed an curled up in a ball. I felt all the drowned emotions I've been pushing down all night finally surface.

I cried silently into the pillows of my bed. I felt Rand curl up on me then the other dog. I hear the other dog whimper slightly nudging my face out of the cover. I come face to face with him as he licks my face.

I smile slightly at him, I look over at Damian who stood off in the corner. I wave him over to me and he follows. I pull him onto the bed with me careful to make sure he doesn't hit Rand and the other dog.

"Are you okay?" He asked in  a whisper. I adjusted myself to lay on him before shaking my head. I wrapped my arms around him and held on tightly. I felt his hand slightly touch my head for a second. It disappeared before it actually touched my head. He stroked my hair softly as I soaked up his warmth.

"Why didn't you want to put on the mask?" He asked quietly. I looked up at him, He had taken off his mask and his soft green eyes watched me silently. "I built a reputation Damian, Putting on that mask means I'm giving up all I worked for." I spat. "And for what?" I asked spitefully.

"To start over all over again? Yeah, not in my life time." I snort. Damian hummed accepting my answer. "But what if you could keep your reputation even with the mask on? Would you have put it on then?" He asked.

I thought a minute it didn't make a lot of sense on how that would be even possible but I guess I would if it was possible. "I guess, I mean Jason wanted me to put it on and I feel bad I didn't do what he wanted me to." I whisper.

I felt Damian hum and before either of us could say anything else I fell asleep before I could even register it. So much for visiting the Den.
