I look over at Alfred as held the stop watch. Rand and Titus both at my side as we lined up at the start marked by a stick. "Are you ready Miss. Citlali?" He asked. "I'm ready when you are Alfred," I grinned as I planted my foot down ready to kick off on the other.

"On your mark...get set...go!" Alfred announced. I grin as I shot off running the track we had set up with cones. Rand was ahead of me, no surprise there, but it helped as I felt like I was chasing Rand. "I'm coming for you Rand!" I laughed as I picked up the pace. I hear him bark as he boosted himself as well.

As the one girl and two dogs ran they didn't notice that a small crowd waited at the finish line along with Alfred. Richard, Jason, Tim, and Damian watched as the teenage girl ran after her dog at an amazing steady pace.

They watched as Titus their vary own Great Dane is falling behind ever so slightly as both Rand and Citlali ran ahead. "That's some speed!" Tim commented Jason could only grin feeling the slightest bit of proud as he watch the teenage girl he took in out race a Great Dane.

The four younger boys cheered as Rand crossed the finish line first, then Citlali, with Titus just behind her. However, all the males were puzzled as they watched the girl and her dog keep running. The Great Dane looked up at his owners confused as he watched two race another lap.

It wasn't until the third lap was finished and the start of the fourth did they all conclude that the girl and her dog had completely forgotten the whole purpose of the race. The elderly butler had stopped his timer at the end of their second lap and the beginning to their third.

Only when the pair ended their fifth lap did they come to a complete stop to their running. The girl collapsed to he ground her partner right along with her. But her laugh never stopped, She sat up to look at the elderly man as he watched the two amused at their display.

"So how we do Alfred?" she asked as she grinned away. "To frank Miss. Citlali I stopped timing you after the second lap. But, you did manage to run a total of five laps in under twenty minutes which happens to be quite impressive," He answered.

Citlali only grinned as she looked over at Rand who had his tounge out panting. "I think we did pretty good, but it wasn't as fast as when we chased Windbreaker. I guess you can't beat the speed of a run when your running on adrenaline and excitement," the girl babbled on to her dog. The men watched her in complete amusement.

I grin down at Rand "You know Rand? One day I'll go back to what we do best. I just hope we'll still have out touch by then" I grin at him. I hear the men laugh ay my comment and I just simply role my eyes.

After the whole field day in the yard I went back to my studies until the end of the day were there was nothing to do. I didn't feel like running anymore and I'm still worn out by it anyways. So here I sat on the couch in the lounge room completely unsure what to do at this point.

I watched as Damian came in sketch book in hand. He sat down and opened it to what I assume a new page. He began working, I watched as he worked finding it interesting to watch him focus. I sat curled up on the end of the couch watching him silently.

I knew Damian knew I was watching but he didn't look up at me. He just continued in silence only once or twice did he glance up at me in that time. It wasn't until Tim came in that Damian actually looked up. He glared at Tim for no particular reason, most likely just to spite him like every other encounter I've experienced sense I've been here.

I puff out a breath of air trying to relive myself of the tension that flouted around the room. It really didn't help I could feel it get worse so I took my chances and walked over to sit by Damian. He glanced over at me but again went back to his sketch.

I lean onto his shoulder slightly to get a look at what he was working on but I felt him tense up at my invasion of his space. I jerked back slightly so I could give him back his space but needless to say I was surprised when I felt him move a little closer to me and tilt his sketch book in my direction.

I smile over at him and looked down at his work. On the page was a beautifully drawn picture of Titus and Rand playing together. I grin over at Damian who for once didn't look mean or angry in fact, he looked rather content and his green eyes were soft instead of a piercing green.

I felt my cheeks heat up slightly but I grinned anyway. Damian's olive colored skin hinted at color but he looked down at his picture. "Can I see more of them?" I aske quietly in hopes I wouldn't break the nice atmosphere between us.

Damian didn't say anything as he closed his book. I felt a little deflated as I assumed his didn't want to show me and was going to leave. But, I grinned as he opened the cover and showed me the first page. On it was a picture of Pennysworth The Cat.

When I first met him needless to say I was worried. I have nothing against cats but all I've been around was dogs and from what I know cats are nothing like dogs. To my relief Damian was the one to introduce me to him and by that I mean he shoved the cat into my arms demanding that I love him.

I remember I was so careful with him. He was so soft and frail compared to dogs and I felt like I was holding a small child instead of a cat. However, I was proved wrong of his fragile nature when I had watched the creature jump from the top of a six-foot-tall bookcase and land on all fours.

Damian and I flipped threw a lot of his pictures and every time we came to a scene instead of a portrait he would tell me about it and all that happened the day he drew it. We were so sucked into our own little world we didn't notice Tim snapchatting the entire ordeal into his saved story and to the family groupchat.
