The Wayne manor wasn't so bad now that I'm actually living in it. I spent two weeks getting use to the building and establishing a routine with men of the house. I've chosen to not join their little night time costume parties simply due the fact that not only I but Jason and Bruce agreed I am simply too unstable to be going out in the field.

Not only that I am not a professional hero. I beat up no brain thugs that ran Dog rings that's just about it. I never made it to the big leagues and sat at the big table. Not my style anyway really.

So now that I don't have to take care of a hundred plus dogs I've got loads of free time so Alfred and I spend time playing catch up to reach my appropriate grade level in school. Some times if I don't get something he can't help me understand we'd call Tim our resident genius.

Even though Tim said I was a quick study I won't be able to be in the same grade as Damian until next month. I'm okay with that though It gives me more time to adapt to everything before being thrown a whole new kind of fastball.

So when I was forced to take a break from studying be it Alfred, Jason, or even Damian someone was always helping me find some sort of hobby. So far I've tried cooking with Alfred, Gymnastics With Richard, Boxing with Jason, Computing with Tim, and Art with Damian.

I'm some what good at some of the stuff I've tried and not so good at others, gymnastics, but nothing really appealed to me. So here I sat on the back steps of the garden watching as birds come and go from the trees.

Titus and Rand sat on either side of me watching right along with me. I hear foot steps come down the stairs but I didn't turn to look at them until they sat right beside me. To be honest I didn't expect to see Bruce beside me.

"You know I was able to get the dean to let you take Rand to school but I had to pull some strings and get him registered as a emotional support animal. So now he literally has to go with you everywhere," He said.

I hum "I'm fine with that I'm use to it anyway. I never left the fortress without Rand so I'm sure there won't be a problem with that," I said looking back out into the yard. "The fortress?" He asked slightly amused by the name.

"Yeah Jason got me calling me it that. Before I always referred to it as the den," I shrug. I watched as Bruce cracked the smallest of smiles. "Do you miss it? The Fortress?" He asked but slightly laughed to himself as he said the name.

I shrugged "Of course I do. I raised myself there, I raised my family there, and built my entire 'empire' there" I replied. "I miss my family. Even if they are considered less than humans," I scoff as I pet Rand's head.

Bruce nodded as we picked up a near by stick and threw it for Titus to fetch. Only Rand raced after it too, I role my eyes as Rand was the first one to it and came skipping back in a smug manner. I raised my eyebrow at him as he smugly placed it in front of Bruce before returning to my side.

"He's fast," Bruce mused. I snort and ruffled the top of Rand's head. "Yeah you get that way when your constantly running around the city trying to get away from dog hunters and chasing after wild dogs," I snort. "So you should be pretty fast too?" He guessed.

I shrugged "You could say that. I had to be able to keep up with a pack of wild dogs. I'll tell you one thing one, One of the best things about what I did is when you spot a stray dog and you know you just gotta help it so you end up chasing after it for hours on end. And that feeling you get when you finally catch up with it and have him in your arms knowing you've won its one of the best feelings I've ever had," I grin in excitement just thinking about it.

"This one time, I got a tip that a stray dog had gotten loose from a dog Ring and they were offering up a thousand dollar reward to who ever caught him alive and brought him in. Rand and I spent the whole afternoon tracking him all over the city and it wasn't until the sunset we saw him." I grin.

"but that didn't stop us, we chased after him. He dragged us all threw out the city, to places I didn't even knew existed, he dragged us into a couple of thugs after him as well and I had to deal with them while Rand kept on his tail. I got lost quite a few times that night trying to keep up with them after. And finally at day break Rand and I had cornered him and we got our hands on him. It was the most amazing chase I've ever been on and the reward was all the more better," I grinned as I pointed at him.

"I didn't take you for the person to turn in a rouge dog for prize money?" Bruce mused. I shot him a dirty look " Like hell I would! The dog himself was the reward. Not only was the fastest dog on my scout and tracking squad he was a amazing friend. The most friendliest thing I've ever met, He couldn't stop licking you once he starts and as soon as you start to play with him, man there is no stopping him." I grin.

My grin soon flattens as the fact that I would never get to chase him again. I glance away from Bruce in attempt to hide the fact I was in pain. But he's Batman and Batman knew everything. "You know with a story like that I'd say you lived one hell of a life," Bruce smirked.

I didn't say anything as I went back to watching the birds. "You know if you need another suggestion for a hobby you should try track and field." He said before I herd him get up and leave. I watched the birds longer before I finally huffed. I looked down at Rand "Track and field huh Rand?" I asked.

Rand barked and wagged his tail excitedly. A grin spread across my face "Let's go get Alfred!"
