chapter 1

Y/n POV
"Wake up wake up" I hear as I closely open my eyes. I see Allison jumping up and down on my bed. "What's wrong Allison? You're supposed to be in bed"

Allison is one of the younger kids in the orphanage, and we both sleep in the same room. Because every older child has to look out for one of the younger ones.

"It's Christmas an-and mabye we get presents".
"You know that we don't get presents right?" I said putting on a sad voice.

"I know but sometimes there are companies who organize charities, you know, and this Christmas there is a charity for the orphanages in our region!" She said while she jumped of my bed.

"That's great Allsion! let's get dressed then". So after Allsion and I got dressed we went downstairs.

Mr Smith the boss of the oprhanage was there and was already screaming at Dave for being a failure. I sighed and quickly made some food for Allison and me. It wasn't allot but it was always better then nothing.

"So as you may have heard there is a charity event today, we will go there with the bus. If you get lost or are not on time by the bus when we are going home you have to walk home on your own, okay!"

"Understood sir!" Everyone said. We got in the bus and we were on our way. It took a hour to get there but better then being home.

Tony POV
"It's your fourth day without sleep sir I advise you to get sleep" Jarvis said. "Shut up Jarvis I don't need sleep" I was working on some new type of suit but mostly I was just avoiding sleep.

Pepper and I we broke up a month ago because she found me not mature enough, which I don't understand. After we broke up I went to go live at the avenger tower instead of our mansion.

A downside of living with all the avengers is they are always on your back. "Tony it's your fourth day, get out you have a charity event today" natasha said.

"What charity event?"
"The one for the orphanages you know?"
"Owhh yeah alright I'll come" I sighed and took an attempt get up.

I knew that pepper was talking about this event. She was also thinking about having kids so they could've mabye went looking for children at this event, but suprise that bitch had left me.

I made my way to my room I got in the shower after that, I put on my nice suit. I slumped to the kitchen were I saw the avengers I quickly mabe some coffee so that I'll be able to stay awake.

"Since when do we have a zombie in the house" Clint joked. "Shut up okay" "still heart broken I see". I sighed and sat down so I could eat my cereal.

"So Tony I was thinking that me and mabye natasha could come with you to the event. So that if you would fall asleep, there are people who can bring you home" steve said while putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

"Alright, so you can help me to look for a kid then"

"Wait what, tony stark and a kid!" Everyone said shocked "Yes pepper wanted a child and I secretly wanted one too, I don't care that she left me I think I'm ready for one."

Steve Natasha and I were walking to the car. We decided that it was better for steve to ride because we didn't know if I could keep my eyes open.

The car stopped and we got out ofcourse there are alot of journalists. And thus alot of questions I quickly walked inside with Steve and Natasha following me.

When we got inside it was alot quieter but there were alot of children.

Y/n POV
We arrived and I saw a Christmas tree and candy and alot of drinks there was even a chocolate fountain!.

"Okay Allison we will stay together take my hand and we will go where you want to go"

We went from the big slide to the candy and she even got to sit on the lap of Santa. It is always nice to see her having fun.

After she got her face painted, we went to the stage we heard that there Tony Stark would speak about this charity event. I was pretty hyped because I like the kind of work he does.

"I'm tired y/n" Allison said while tugging on my shirt. "Come we will sit here I will wake you up when he is done speaking.

Everyone clapped and I saw Tony Stark walking up to the microphone waving at the people.

"Welcome everyone welcome that you could all make it to this charity event. It's Christmas and at that time we come together to celebrate family and friends. This charity event is not only for fun and money but also for possible parents who want to adopt." After talking and showing a few clips he was ready with talking and walked off stage.

"Hey Allsion wake up" I whispered and it made her open her eyes. I said that we could go get some food and that mabye after that she could go to the big slide. She jumped on my back and we started our search for food.

Tony POV
"So you know how old your kid should be Tony" steve said while handing him a baseball cap. "I just need someone who can stay home on there own". "Ready to go undercover and look at some kids!" steve said.

"Okay steve that sounded a bit creepy but let's go" I said while smiling at his goofy face.

I saw alot of kids why is it so hard to talk or walk up to a kid. I had a few conversations with children but they weren't interested in me.

Then I reached what looked like a dance floor I saw two figures dancing one older and the other one wad younger. They were dancing to AC/DC one of my favourite bands.

Steve stood next to me and said "so who will talk first"
