chapter 17

Steve POV
So as everyone knows I'm a great cook. So I decided to cook some chocolate chip cookies for the whole team.

"Guys kitchen is out of bounds because I'll be cooking some cookies" I nearly screamed it. I got the recipe and started making it I put some butter in it eggs flour sugar and baking soda (it's probably not how you make a cookie.)

I was mixing it all together I was so concentrated at making the best cookies that had ever existed. I didn't notice that Tony had just walked in.

The apron I had on was an iron man apron. I put it on because it was the only one in the whole tower.

I felt a hand on my waist and immediately turned around with my mixer in my hand ready to fight.

"Woow slow down cap it's just me."
"I said that the kitchen was out of bounds, what are you doing here" you could hear the disappointment out of my voice.
"Well I was getting some coffee, but now that I see you standing here in this beautiful apron I would love to offer my assistance.
"Well you could put the chocolate chips into the mixture if it wasn't to much to ask."

I turned around to preheat the oven. That's when I heard a loud bang behind me.

I saw Tony under the flour and eggs standing there with the mixture on the ground and the mixer in his hand.

"Uhmmm well I lost control of the mixer...... and well the bowl spun out of control and knocked over several things."

I couldn't help but laugh

"You find this funny do you."
He run to me to give me a hug so also I had flour all over me.

We were giggling like to little children until we saw the mixture laying on the ground. We decided to make a new batch. After 30 minutes of mixing al the ingredients. We put the cookies in the oven.

"Well good job honey" and Tony planted a kiss on my lips. I immediately kissed him back. We eventually made out for a few minutes in the kitchen until we decided to clean it.

Beep beep
"They are ready" I said in the most exciting tone I could set up. I got my oven mints and got the cookies out and put them all on a plate.

I was so proud of my cookies so we decided to to go to the avengers and offer them this delicious treat.

We walked into the living area and they didn't know what they saw. Two grown man holding cookies with flour covering each inch of their body.

"Jeez what happened to you guys, don't tell me you had sex in the kitchen" Clint said in a moking tone.

"No Clint. Tony here lost control of the mixer." They all grabbed cookies and we were ready to head down to y/n and peter.

Tony POV
Well I think this was the first time I had baked anything in my entire life so it went quite well.

Steve and I were walking down to the elevator and I saw Steve giggling.
"What's so funny?"
"You know that you're still covered in flour, right?"
"I know and I will embrace it" and i gave Steve a sassy smile.

We got into the elevator, not really expecting anything out of the ordinary.
The elevator arrived at the level and the door slowly opened.

That's when I saw my daughter holding peter. While peter was hanging from the ceiling with their own designed webs.
"What the hell is going on here."

They slowly landed on the ground peter still with his hands around y/n her waist.

"We were just testing the webs strength dad"

I felt my eyes darken and I send a death glare Peter's way. With that peter immediately took his hand of y/n her waist.

Steve quickly broke the awkward tense silence. "You kids want cookies." While giving them a sweet smile. And holding the tray with cookies out in front of him.

Peter and y/n both got a cookie from steve.

"Dad why are you covered in what I suppose is flour."
"He can't cook very well" steve answered.
"Well thanks dad and Steve, is it okay that we will continue with what we were doing."

"Y/n can I speak with you?"
"Sure dad, what's up" he nodded me over so that we would speak alone.
"Why did Peter has his hand around your waist?"
"Omg seriously dad I'm not putting up with this crap anymore. HE IS A FRIEND and now go please." She said, I felt the anger rising inside of me but I decided to go before I will explode.

Y/n POV
"So Pete i think we can put the wed shooter on the now painted suit." He nodded and gave me the web shooters.

"Hey y/n what happened with you and you're dad, I heard you screaming at him."
"Nothing..."
"It didn't sound like nothing"
"He is just so overprotective of me I get sick of it. Don't get me wrong I love him. But I can't even go to a party without him wanting to know everything. And he gets so overprotective when there is a boy in the house. He can't even see that boys and girls can be just friends."

He noticed that I was really tense so he walked over to give me a hug.

I took a few deep breathes and I got out of his hug. I walked over to the suit and attached the webshooters.

"So we are finally done."
"It went faster than I thought" we gave each other a high five and we were appreciating our great build.

We had a few weeks before the science fair started.

"So mabye we can test the suit out another day?"
"That would be great" I hear peter say while packing his bag.

We said our goodbyes and the elevator door closed.

I was walking to my room until I heard my dad. "Y/n we have to talk" he said in a soft voice.

"What dad!" I said irritated and I turned around to face him. I saw that his eyes were red, it looked like he had been crying.

Well y/n you will just hurt everyone you love.

"Look y/n I know you may think that I'm being really protective. It's j-just that this world is not fair I've seen things and done things I'm not proud of." He walked closer "I'm just scared that you'll get hurt, you're my daughter and I have never felt more scared when you're out or with someone I don't know really well." He stopped talking and gave me a big hug.

"I know dad I'm sorry. I know that you love me and don't want me to get hurt, but you also have to know that I have a life too. I also wanna have fun sometimes mabye even have a boyfriend. It's just that you can be protective but please don't stop me from living my life."

"I'll try pumpkin, I love you"
"Love you too dad"
