chapter 7

Y/n POV
I could see in the living room and I saw my dad sleeping with..... steve?!

I decided to sneak past them.

I tried to walk in a straight line to my bedroom but while I was walking I bummed into a vase and it fell. Shattering all across the floor.

I decided to walk faster but I couldn't walk in a straight line so I half stumbled to my room, and I nearly fell when I reached the doorknob but when I was about to turn the doorknob....

"WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING YOUNG LADY" I saw my dad standing there with crossed arms.

Tony POV
We were all watching a film when it was finished I decided to wait for y/n. She was late so I decided to call her and text her.

Steve decided to stay with me and wait for her. We decided to watch a serie on Netflix while waiting for her I saw steve asleep on my shoulder. Before I knew it I was asleep too.

I jumped awake when I heard something shatter. I decided to look what it was and there I saw my own daughter. I set on my stern dad voice and said

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING YOUNG LADY"
"UhMMmm I'm gOinG tO my RooM"
"You know that you're late I have been worried sick I was calling you no answer same with the texts I send you, come here y/n I wanna have a little chat"

I saw her walking to the couch and as someone who had been drunk alot. It looked like she wasn't sober.

Steve was awake too and stood beside me while y/n took place. I could smell the alcohol from her breath.

"Y/n have you been drinking!"
"NoOooO"
"Y/n!"
"OkAy a litTlE Bit" I heard her say in a drunk voice
"How much is a little bit"
"UhMmM MAbye 16 ShoTs, but I fEEl GOOOOD"
"Y/n tomorrow we are going to have a long long talk you are going to your room now and sleep, Understood?"
"YeS Ma'Am" and she "walked" of to her room.

I pinched the bridge of my nose and sat on the couch with a large sigh. "Tony are you okay" I heard concern in Steve's voice. "I don't know I just want to be a good parent and now this happens I'm just scared I will be just like my father."

"Look Tony your father didn't even try to be a good parent you're trying your hardest. You couldn't stop her from drinking okay. It's all going to be alright." Steve said while rubbing my back.

I laid my head onto Steve's shoulder and I fell asleep because of how tired I was and how much I had been stressing about y/n.

Steve POV
After the talk I had with Tony I noticed that he had fallen asleep. I decided to pick him up and take him to his room.

I laid him in his bed and I kissed his forehead few seconds after I had done that. I noticed what I had done and I turned pink luckily Tony didn't see it and was still asleep.

Y/n POV
"UGHHHHHH" I tried to open my eyes but everything was so bright and it gave me a headache. "Mabye I should just not come out today" I mumbled to myself.

"Hey get up sleepy head before I kick you out of bed" I heard aunt nat say.

With all the strength I had I but a hoodie over my pyjamas but didn't mind changing my pyjama shorts.

I half stumbled to the kitchen I felt like a zombie. I had missed breakfast and we were all having lunch now.

"Slept well" I heard steve say. I just shrugged and decided to eat some cereal. I sat next Thor who was eating all the pop tarts he could possibly get his hands on.

"Daughter of Stark how has your party been?" Thor said and everyone's eyes got big and were excited to know what had happened.

"Uhmmm yeah it was good" I said
"More then good as I have heard" Clint said while Natasha punched him in the shoulder.

"What do you mean?"
"I think we all heard you when you tried to stumble to your room" bruce said while giving me a small smile.
"Look I just had something to drink okay it's not a big deal"
"It is a big deal young lady" I heard Tony say behing me.
"I'm sorry, okay"
"You're underaged you're not allowed to drink and how the hell did you even get alcohol"
"Just befriend someone who is old enough" I said while grinning a bit.
"You think this is funny do you? You're grounded until you go to school"
"B-but"
"GO TO YOUR ROOM" he said in a stern voice

I got up tears welling up in my eyes I ran to my room and shut the door. When I reached my bed I was sobbing.

Why why why why why

I was so angry at myself I was a failure  I'm just a problem to them.

Knock knock "can I come in" I heard that it was nat and I quickly wiped my tears away and said she could come in.

When she got in I saw her face full of concern when she pulled me into a hug, I cried for a few minutes.

"Is there a reason you went out and got drunk" she said
"When I lived at t-the orphanage I used to sneak out and get drunk. It was the only way for me to escape the hell hole. When I was drinking I forgot about the thoughts... I forgot about everything."

I knew that she didn't know what to say so I just said "I'm sorry I'll try and not do it again I'm so sorry" I said again while feeling the tears come again.

"Shhh it's alright it will be alright"

Natasha POV
After I made sure y/n was asleep I got out of her room and went to the living room to see all the avengers sitting there.

When I walked into the room they all looked at me wondering what happened.

"When she lived at the orphanage she snuk out to get drunk. So she could forget about her thoughts." I said while sitting down.

Tony got up and walked off to his lab I don't know if he was angry, disappointed or just sad.

Tony POV
God I'm not even a good parent I didn't know how she felt and why she did it. I only screamed at her.

I was in my lab working trying to get my mind of things. I said to Jarvis to pull up the vitals of y/n and tell me if something would change.

I eventually started crying and fell asleep. (I know Tony doesn't cry alot)

Y/n POV
I was done done done I was thinking again about everything Mr Smith has said to me. It made me feel like a failure.

I made an effort to get up walked to the bathroom and took my razor out I said that it was only for emergencies and this is one.

I needed relief I pulled my sleeves up to reveal faded scars. I put my razor on my skin and dragged it across my arm.

It wasn't as deep as I liked it to be but after a few cuts I was satisfied with the result and decided to clean it up.

Tony POV
"Sir Y/n seems so be in distress" I shot up from my sleep
"where is she what what happened" "she is in her bathroom and I don't know what happened. Because there aren't cameras in there"

I ran up to y/n her room and knocked on the bathroom door. "Y/n are you okay?" I said out of breath "I'm okay nothing to worry about" I heard her say in a happy tone.

"Jarvis said that you were in distress?"
"Owhh y-yeah I bumped my head but I'm alright"
"Uhm okay sorry for disturbing you make sure you're ready for dinner."
"Thank you dad"

I left the room smiling

I love it when she calls me dad :)
