chapter 26

Y/n POV
I had woken up in a cold sweat, I know that tonight I have the homecoming dance I got clammy hands and my breathing started to get faster.

Calm down y/n it's only a dance nothing bad will happen.

I kept repeating it over and over again in my head while I was pacing around my room. I didn't even hear someone coming into my room.

"Y/n are you okay?" I heard Steve say from behind me.
"Y-yeah" I said while breathing heavily.
"It doesn't look like it."
"Just a bit anxious about tonight that's all."
"Don't worry about it it'll be fine y/n. You're going to have alot of fun."
"I guess I will, thanks Steve" and I gave him a hug.

"Now get yourself ready and meet us for breakfast."
"I will."

It took a minute until I had found a nice outfit to wear.

I put on some light makeup consisting of concealer and mascara. I made my way to the kitchen and saw that the avengers were already sitting around the table.

__________time skip to school

"Hey orphan I don't think you'll be going to homecoming, because you'll probably can't afford it."

Goddamnit Jessica if she could just f*ck off for one minute.

"You know what Jessica I will be going to the homecoming dance. If you'll excuse me now I'm going to class."

When I sat in class I saw peter walk in and we immediately locked eyes. He started to blush and damn that looks cute.

I gave him a smirk as he sat down, for the duration of the class we glanced over at each other from time to time.

When we had lunch we all sat together at the table.
"So are you all going to homecoming?" I said
"I am" peter said glancing at me.
"Me too" ned said we all looked at mj and she gave a big sigh.
"Okay okay I'll go." And we all gave a cheer

"Are you guys going with someone?" Ned asked

Peter and I both became red ned and mj noticed that.
"What are you guys hiding?" Mj said with suspicion in her voice.
"W-well y/n and I-I are going with each other."
"I knew it! Ned you owe me."
"Goddamnit" ned said and gave mj her 5 dollars.

"What was that all about!" I said
"Well we kinda bet if you guys would end up going to homecoming together." And mj gave me a smirk.

Finally school is done

When I was making my way to my locker I heard everyone talk about the homecoming dance.

Peter walked up to me when I was busy putting books into my locker.
"You ready for tonight?"
"I am pete"
"I'll pick you up around 8"

When I closed my locker we both walked out of school. We locked our hands together and walked hand in hand. I walked to the car still holding his hand.

"See you tonight" I turned around and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He wanted to say something but was stuttering and I saw him blushing. I gave him a smirk and entered the car.

When I dat down I began to smile.
"Well." I turned my head to the side and saw my dad.
"Owhh hi dad."
"So we are not going to acknowledge that you just kissed him on the cheeck?"
"Well dad I just did." And gave him kiss a kiss on the cheeck too. My dad gave me a smirk and pushed me playfully, we eventually started laughing.

He arrived at the tower and I immediately went to the kitchen to eat something.
"Well you're hungry" clint said.
"I'm stress eating" I answered with my mouth full of food.
"Calm down y/n it'll be fine you need to relax." Clint grabbed me by my arm and dragged me to the couch.
"What are you doing?"
"Just sit down." I sat down as asked.

Clint grabbed a lot of pillows and grabbed a fluffy blanket. He tucked me in and gave me ice cream chocolate and put on a film.
"And now just rest."
"Well thanks, uncle Clint."

I laid there watching the film and eating my ice cream when I finished it my belly was full. I quickly closed my eyes but before I knew it I was sleeping.

"Wake up!" I shot up and saw my dad I let out a big yawn before answering.
"Really dad?
"Dinner is ready"

I got up from the couch I still felt like absolute crap. I took my blanket with me and sat at the table.
"Wait how late is it?"
"It's 6pm" Jarvis answered.
"Wait I have to be ready in about 2 hours"
"Y/n there will be enough time." Dad said
"B-but I have to shower and do my hair, and well I'm not a pro at that. Also I have to put on make up and get into the f*cking dress."
"I have hired some people who will help you with your hair and makeup"
"Really?"
"I'm Tony Stark I have money and I want you to have the time of your life tonight. "

I relaxed and ate the dinner Natasha had made for us. When I was ready with eating Natasha took me to my room.

I first took a quick shower and then a team of artists came in to do my hair and makeup.

I sat down in a chair and in about 30 minutes they were ready with the hair and makeup.
"You look absolutely beautiful" natasha said
