I do not believe in love:
I do not believe that someone would fall into the abyss,
stay in the abyss, and hope for someone to hopelessly
fall; hoping for someone to catch them on the way down.I do not believe in love:
I do not believe in the craft of flowers and teddy bears
and silent serenades and unfinished kisses and bearable
hugs and the whole point of love.I do not believe in love:
I do not believe how this so-called destiny would let two people cross paths just to
step onto thorns across the way, just to let them bleed red until they were blue. And especially,
I do not believe in forever:
Mathematics has told us that everything has a limit;
that every positive and negative infinity has a limit, and
so that there is no such thing as forever for anythingBut, for you.
I'd open my eyes, stare at the abyss, spread my wings
and fly through the unknown, trusting my fall towards
the unknown, trusting you to wrap me on your arms.I'd give you every flowers, as long as it permits. I'd give
you serenades the world hasn't heard of yet. I'd give you
every part of my lips until you've memorized the feeling
of every fold, every scars, and every broken promises
would be fixed.
(as long as it permits.)I'd be happy to have intersections in our road; we'd be
hopping through all the thorns that the road has to offer
and if we get wounded then we'd stop by the gardens to
heal ourselves just to continue walkingand I know I said I don't believe in forever
but if I'd spent it with you.
I don't mind doing so.Because I do not believe in love
but, if it's you, I don't mind
believing once again.
