10. Volley ball

“ Come on Sophia, you’ve got to start getting into this” I hear Harry sigh

“ But, my nails… there delicate” complains Sophia

I roll my eyes and head over to my team.

“ Brilliant job guys,” Says Niall giving us all hi 5’s.

 “ They might change their game plan now that they’ve figured out ours, so be prepared” warned Niall

We all gulp down some soft drink before walking back onto the field. The other team is called in and the game starts. Liam is quick to get the first 2 points but my team are quick to regroup and get our first point of the half.

There was a minute left to go and the scores were now level. Wow the other team had really caught up, and even Sophia had hit the ball once, even if she fell to the ground afterwards.

“ Time out” calls Zayn

We run to the sideline and have a team chat.

“ Ok pressures on guys, Liam’s covering for Sophia now so we can’t risk hitting it towards her” sighs Zayn

“ Ok well how about I distract Harry then we hit it towards him?” asks Louis

“ That might work, and I guess its our best chance, so lets do it” replies Zayn

“ and if they do get the ball and hit it back, we have to be very tight, and willing to back each other up if the ball goes in our direction” I say

“ Yep lets do this!” encourages Niall

We head back onto the field this was getting intense.

“ Hey Harry remember our bum dance” I hear Louis say

“ haha yeah that was funny” Harry laughs as he repeats the dance

We’ve got him I smile. 30 seconds left now, we were just passing the ball around to each other. 10 seconds, I’ve got the ball, 9. I pass it to Zayn, 8. He hits it towards Harry who was still being stupid, 7, 6, 5. Harry’s smile falters as he sees the ball. 4, 3. He goes to hit it, hopefully his reaction is to slow. 2, 1. Harry misses the ball. The buzzer goes off. BEEP BEEP. 

“ WE WON!!!” I scream. I run up to my team and we all get into a group hug, cheering and celebrating. I hi 5 all the boys and run up and hug Niall. It really wasn’t that big a deal that we won, but still we were all too happy to care.

I look over t the other team, Sophia was sitting down looking bored, while the other boys looked disappointed, I smiled at Kade and he just rolled his eyes, boys were so competitive. Liam was lecturing Harry who looked really disappointed; he must have felt so bad that he let his team down.

I turn around to see Niall standing behind me.

“ So what you think we should get for dinner?” I ask

“ Well I think we should feed the others worms, while Louis, Zayn, you and I go grab some Nandos “ replies Niall

“ Haha that sounds fun” I laugh

Niall smiles at me, and my heart skips a beat. It wasn’t until then that I realised, I was falling for this Irish boy. Oh my god, I couldn’t believe it I was crushing on one of the boys from the biggest boy band in the world, millions of girls scream there names and dream of being their girlfriends, I had no chance whatsoever. Yet no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t shake the feeling I got when he smiled.
