16. I Will Try To Fix You...

Ok so FINALLY updated.. i know sooo late but schools just started back so its going to take me longer to update. also i found this chapter quite difficult to write as it is quite an emotional chapter but i tried my best :) the next few chapters are going to be really big so please tune in! dedicated to @SammySaysSo for fanning me and writing some awesome fanfics :) dont forget to comment, vote and fan!!! thankyou xx

As we reach the end of the staircase I feel everyone’s eyes on us and I start to blush. I hear muttering and sighs as we stop walking.

“ You two look gorgeous” smiles Kade as he comes up and hugs as

“ You don’t look to bad yourself” I reply smirking

“ Err well I guess we should head off” says Louis as he clears his throat

We all agree and start heading out to Paul who was outside with the tour bus. Niall and I are the last out and just before I step outside Niall grabs me pulls me out of everyone’s view and passionately kisses me. After a few moments he stops and smiles at me.

“ You look gorgeous,” he says before walking off to the boys. I stand their shocked for a moment before I lock the door.

“ Hello Rose, you look lovely” smiles Paul

“ Oh thanks Paul” I reply before getting into the tour bus.

I go to sit next to Sophia but Harry jumps in my spot. I look around and see that the only free spot was next to Niall. As I sit down next to him he smiles at me and I feel my cheeks go slightly red. We make small talk until we finally get to the party. At first glance of the building I thought we were in the wrong place, it was a big dull building… but the 1D boys acted like usual so I shrugged at Sophia and followed Paul in.

As we got closer to the building I started to hear music playing, and lots of people chatting, I guess this was the place after all. We walk into the building, there are flashing lights everywhere and music pumping loudly.

“ Hey it’s my boys! Glad you could make it” exclaims some guy, as we hi 5’s all the boys

“ Charlie, great to see you bro” says Harry

So this was the mysterious Charlie who through all the awesome parties… not what I expected. He had dark hair that was all slicked and dark mysterious eyes. Definitely not the blonde shaggy haired party boy I was expecting, this guy had class.

“ Oh these are the 3 kids you were talking about” smiles Charlie, turning his gaze on us.

“ Yeah, this is Kade, Rose and Sophia,” says Zayn gesturing to us.

“ Oh I’m Charlie, nice to meet you… Sophia is a very pretty name” he says, winking at Sophia

Harry goes red then grabs Sophia by the hand.

“ Well we will see you later Charlie,” says Harry walking off with Sophia

Everyone bursts into laughter. Poor Harry.

Liam and I walk over to the punch table and get a drink.

“Liam you’re going to have to introduce me to everyone” I say

“ Yes of course, you want to meet some people now?” he asks

“ Yeah! Of course” I reply

We walk over to a group of people who Liam starts chatting too. I go a little red when I notice that it is actually Ed Sheeran and a few other people, this was surreal.

“ Hey guys, I would like you guys to meet Rose, she’s a new friend we made here” smiles Liam

“ Hi Rose, I’m Ed and this is Riley and Jesse” says Ed as he shakes my hand

I smile at Riley and Jesse. Riley was tall with blonde curly hair and blue eyes. While Jesse was short with dark hair and brown eyes. I wonder if they were a couple…

“ Hey nice to meet you, how do you know Ed?” I ask them

“ Oh I went to school with him, and Jesse is his manager” explains Riley

“ Oh cool” I say

I continue chatting to them all, finding out that Jesse was actually already married to some fellow called Mitch. They were all very nice, and Ed was a good laugh.  After a bit Niall comes up to me and we move away to the side of the room.

“ Enjoying the party?” Niall asks

“ Yeah, you?” I reply

“ Oh yeah, its great” smiles Niall

We chat for a while until out of the blue Niall asks me, “ Why is Kade so protective of you? I mean I get that your close but like… I’ve never seen anyone as protective as him…”

“ Ok well that is a long story, but you deserve to know it… so how about we go grab some drinks and sit down so I can explain it?” I smile

“ Yeah ok” says Niall

We get a drink and find a seat.

“ Hm where should I start?” I sigh

“ How about the begging,” says Niall

“ Ok well it all started when Kade moved schools. At our old school he was friends with everyone and everyone loved him, but once he went to the dance school things were different.  There weren’t many guys at the school and the few that were there were really close and they didn’t like Kade. They made his life a living hell. He didn’t tell anyone this was going on for 2 months. I was hanging out with him when I saw the scars all over his arm. I demanded him to tell me why he was cutting himself and he just broke down.” I say.

I glance at Niall who is sitting there wide-eyed in shock.

“ Afterwards I took him to the doctor and he was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and depression. Every week he goes see a therapist and he takes medication daily. He has gone though some really low days, but at the moment he’s on the road to recovery. Because I am helping him though these tough times I think he feels he owes me, even though I remind him every day he doesn’t. it also worries me that if something happened to me it might send him over the edge as well.” I continued

I take a deep breath, I hadn’t realised that whilst I was talking tears had started trickling down my face, so I quickly wipe them away. I look up at Niall who had tears in his eyes and he gives me a sad smile.

“ Ah... wow… does Sophia know all this?” he asks

“ She knows most of this.” I say

“ Er… I hope you don’t mind me asking but did he ever... you know… try and take his own life?” Niall asks slowly

At that question I flinch, remembering the day well.

“ He called me up in tears one day after school. The boys had thrown him in a bin… I couldn’t calm him down, he was too upset and he cut really deep… I rushed over to his house just in time” I explain shakily

“ I guess it makes sense why he is so protective of you,” says Niall

“ Yeah” I sigh

Damn that last part took me forever to write.... quite an emotional scene...anyone got anything to say about poor old Kade? anyway yeah next update will be Thursday hopefully :) i hope you enjoyed it :) comment, fan and vote xx also big shout out to everyone who's read this fanfic, it recently hit 800 reads :)
