Chapter 22: Frappucinnos
Ding!
The bell on the door into StarBucks rang, signalling a new costumer.
All eyes that were formerly planted on either a book, a laptop, phone, or another person were suddenly moved over to Michael and Carmen.
You couldn't blame them, the cute brunette teenager wearing a crop top, skinny jeans and a cute pair of boots that she squealed over when she found them online walking in with a lilac haired tall boy.
"So Michael..." Carmen pulled him by his arm to the line which was practically invisible. "What's your order, Lilac?" She questioned, finding a new nickname for Michael.
"Lilac?" He retorted, laughing at her new name for him. "Whatever. Um... I'll tell them myself, thank you."
"Really?" Carmen shot back.
"See, child. They way you learn someone's order, is by listening to them do it so many times." Michael said condescendingly.
"Just order already." Carmen rolled her eyes, referring to the gap in the line between them and the cashier.
Carmen pulled out her phone to look like she wasn't paying attention when actually, she was documenting Mike's StarBucks order.
"I'll have a grande Vanilla Bean Frappucinno with extra extra whipped cream on it." Michael ordered.

Carmen looked up from her phone and ordered a grande mocha cookie crumble Frappucinno.
Once her and Michael had gotten their beverages, Carmen put away her phone and found a seat for her and Michael to share.
Once they had sat down, Carmen began conversation.
"Wow, Lilac, you're such a white girl."
