"Not again," I whined, as I saw the ceiling of my room. "But, it was different. Very different. More was going on. And more was in my control. But, it felt so real."

I hugged my body, shuddering as the feeling of breathlessness set in.

But, at the end, that surge of power.

I looked at my hands which were shaking.

My hands shakily picked up my phone.

It was one in the morning, which gave me more than enough time to study.

I quietly shut the door to my room and went into the living room. I opened a drawer on the TV stand and pulled out a DVD. That DVD had the complete seasons of Dragon Ball Z Kai.

I pulled out my laptop and put the DVD into it.

Plugging in my headphones, I started watching from a season or two in.

The situations and enemies dealt with in Dragon Ball were kind of different from the ones I was dealing with, but the powers the characters had were pretty much the same as mine.

Time Skip

Five hours had flown by, and before I knew it my six o'clock alarm went off.

I shut the laptop and rubbed my eyes. I was very sleepy. But I was also very happy because I had found a new way to train.

At six, I'd usually go for a morning jog, but I decided to get ready first because I wanted to stop by the company.

I quickly got ready and changed.

I didn't have time to put in contacts so I quickly grabbed my glasses, my bag and ran out the door.

The morning air was calm and happy. People were staring their work or school commutes, but it was that time of day where it was the calm before the storm almost.

It was peaceful.

The air was pretty cool, causing me to clutch my sweater closer to my body.

After about twenty minutes the company building came into view.

I sprinted in, heading down into the invention basement.

My father had hired some of the best inventors to help create his products.

But I was interested in one particular inventor.

Hobi's mom.

She was one of the best. And she worked well with machines of future technology.

After watching the show, I knew two things. A thing like the 'Hyperbolic Time Chamber' could not be made. Not with any technology we have today. But a thing like a "Gravity Chamber" probably could. It was the twenty-first century, and Misses Jung was incredibly smart. She had created so many things for the company that you'd think were ahead of its time.

And once someone challenged her to build something, she wasn't going to back down.

Dear Mrs. Jung,

It's Dahye! I was wondering if you could build me a gravity chamber? Like the one from Dragon Ball Z Kai :) I know it's a bit silly but it's super important. I need to be able to make the gravity stronger or weaker than the gravity of Earth. It sounds a bit like fantasy but I will be forever grateful. I'll pay you for your troubles.

Sincerely,
Dahye :)

I left the note on her desk, and headed out of the building.

On the way to school, I stopped by a coffee shop and picked up a coffee for myself and one for Hoseok.

"Is your hand okay?" The barista asked, pointing to my hand with the cut.

I had completely forgotten that it was there.

But the wound seemed to have deepened a little and the bandage was a dirty brown and red color.

"Oh yeah sorry. I hurt my hand and I guess the wound opened up a bit," I said. It was the truth, just not the whole truth.

She nodded suspiciously, handing me my two coffees.

I quickly went to the bathroom and pulled out a spare wrapping I had, and removed the dirty bandage.

The wound had definitely gotten worse. I thought about it for a second remembering the dream I had.

"I was fighting in that dream. But it was just a dream," I muttered to myself.

I grabbed the two coffees and speedily walked towards the door, when someone caught my eye.

"Mini Min?" I questioned.

Min Yoongi, corporate heir to Min Corp. was just standing and ordering something.

"Interesting. Usually the Min's don't really come to this part of town unless for business. Wonder what meeting the poor guy is going to have to suffer through next," I chuckled to myself, slipping out of the shop.

I walked for a bit, staring at my hand. How could a dream affect my physical state? I never punched a hole in the wall or destroyed anything.

That made me worried. The dream felt realer each time, and now they were affecting my physical body.

I was greeted my Hoseok upon arriving at school.

"You have my coffee! Yay! Thank you! You don't owe me anymore!" He squealed.

I laughed, handing him his cup.

I took quick sips from mine, hoping to wake myself up a bit.

"Woah, lady, what happened to your hand and why do you look like a zombie with glasses?" He asked, picking up my limp hand and pointing at my eye bags.

I looked around before grabbing his hand and walking into school.

"Yesterday was not an easy cleanup job," I said softly.

"What do you mean? Wasn't it the same things you always fight?" He asked under his breath.

I shook my head, "They were these creatures that would latch onto me and drain my strength. And they also multiplied themselves. But besides that, they were stronger and more calculative. I gave them an opening and they took it. I took a beating yesterday. So last night I had another dream. But it was different. More surreal and I was more in control. I fought in my dream even. A quick flash of power ran through my body. It felt overwhelming but I felt energized and determined. I found out those creatures were called 'latchers' too. So many things were said, but the most peculiar was today the wound I got, opened up. But there was no damage in my room. Meaning that dream somehow affected my physical body. But basically I was up at one in the morning watching Dragon Ball Z Kai trying to study, and may have asked your mom to build me something to help me train."

He blinked twice, "Wow, I need a sip of coffee after that."

I chuckled, taking a sip of my own.

"Wow okay. I guess that's what happens when I have a superhero best friend," he hummed.

I rolled my eyes turning my head away.

"Oh my god," I said.

"What?" Hoseok asked.

"Mini Min is on campus," I replied.
