"That hurt," the general whined.
"Good, it was supposed to. I don't know if your boss told you, but the minute any of you step onto my turf, you deal with me. You don't get to aim at the city or any of the citizens. I'm the one that you want to fight, so let's leave them out of it," I warned.
"And what if I don't want to," he sneered.
In a split second I was right in front of him, "Then you're going to have to face the consequences."
And with that I let out a powerful kick that sent him flying into the sky.
Angered, the latchers charged at me.
I clicked my tongue, watching in amusement as they tried to land a hit on me.
Every attack they had they tried. Not a single thing worked, for them, and with every failed attempt they were getting more and more worked up.
Just as they were about to try again I put my hand out, signaling for them to stop.
"You has your turn. Now it's mine," I smirked.
I balled my hands into fists, clenching them as hard as I could.
With all the power controlled into one general area, in one shout there was now a grayish blue aura surrounding me.
"Just to give you a sample of my strength..."
I quickly moved, managing to hit every single one of them in a matter of seconds, weaving through the thousands of them.
I looked back at my handy work, watching as each one of them vanished into thin air.
Smirking, I turned my attention back to the general.
"Impressive Dahye. I don't know what changed in you from yesterday, but you're a lot stronger, faster, and careful. But don't count on your success just yet," the voice snarled.
"Is there a name you'd like to be called?" I asked the creature in front of me.
"Bentor."
"Well Bentor, let me teach you why it's wrong to mess with Han Dahye's world," I grinned.
Enraged by my confidence, Bentor came straight at me, letting out an angry shout.
But I caught the punch and kick he was trying to throw.
"Lesson one Mister Bentor. I fight with my head, not with my muscles," I said, kicking him in the gut.
He tried again, this time throwing a series of attacks as fast as he could.
But I dodged all of it pretty easily.
Getting bored, I punched him in the gut, releasing my own series of punches and kicks. Almost all of them managing to hit him.
"Lesson two Mister Bentor. I intend to win every battle I'm in, and don't waste time dealing with amateurs," I said, landing a blow on his head.
He howled in pain.
"What? Frustrated that you can't land a blow on a, what's that thing all of you call me? A mere mortal?" I mocked.
His face contorted in rage. He was battered and bruised. And blood was running down his skin.
In a final attempt to end me he rapid fire shot blasts out of his palms.
A few managed to actually hit me, but it didn't hurt. When one was angry and not thinking straight, their attacks become weak.
A cloud of smoke had accumulated from the blast however.
I laughed a little. It was going to end up being those scenes in shows and movies where the enemy thinks they've won, but when the smoke clears the good guy is still standing with a smirk on their face.
