Tuesday, 2:23pm, September 10th.
The only sounds being heard through the apartment was clicks and taps from the keyboard of Taehyung's laptop, soft hums as he read something he searched up from curiosity. his face sat in the palm of his hand as his eyes bolted left to right on the computer as he read..
Taehyung became curious of the boy from the coffee shop, he was cute and his eyes were small and fell cutely into thin lines when he would smile.
There was something about him that Taehyung couldn't stop thinking about, but couldn't figure out why.
Hoseok sat on the couch, with a leg crossed on the other as he scrolled through his phone and looked up at the tv every so often, really, the tv was just for noise so the place wouldn't be quiet, nothing was really on anyways.
Hoseok yawned as he thrown his head back against the couch before looking over at his best friend, Hoseok blinked a few times before realizing what the other was reading about. he took a deep breath, getting up and grabbing a chair and sitting next to the other, Taehyung smiles. hoseok signs
"What are you reading about?" he watches curiously.
"soulmates" Tae signs with a smile and a spark in his eyes
"they say that if you find your soulmate, something of you-" he tries to find the correct to sign "-gets fixed?" he cocks his head as he tries to understand the concept of this soulmate thing, Hoseok nods as acknowledgement.
Taehyung farrows his eyebrows as lips form into a line "what does that mean?" he asks. Hoseok swallows thickly "I'm not really sure, Tae ssi" he signs before looking away. taehyung hums "I'm gunna read more and find out!" he signs with a determined smile on his face, Hoseok sighs as he nods before he gets up and goes into the kitchen. he stands at the island, tapping his fingers, watching Taehyung in thought.
The thing is.
Hoseok does know. the meaning of this soulmate thing and how it happens, but its a rare thing, doesn't happen often or happen to many people. so rare that doctors don't know about it. but Hoseok didn't think taehyung was one of those people that were effected by the soulmate effect, because the doctors said he become deaf from some kind of birth effect, so Hoseok didnt think any of it. Not until Saturday when they ran into the boy who worked at the coffee shop and taehyung swore on his life that he heard his voice and he did. so even though Hoseok knew about this soulmate thing, he didnt want to inform Taehyung about it. he didnt want his best friend going out, getting himself constantly hurt by trying to find the one who could fix this effect.
Hoseok sighs as he roams in his thoughts, tapping his fingers on the countertop trying to figure out what to do. he pushes himself off the counter and walks back into the livingroom and squats next to the other, he signs with a smile
"Let's go to the coffee shop."
