Our Bumpy Road (Albus Potter x Reader)

Ch. 2: Meeting the Potter's

When you wake up in the morning you remember the events of the early morning. Wait, that wasn't true. It must have been a dream you think.

When you walk downstairs to your surprise your brother is already awake.

"Congratulations." He says.

"For what?" You ask.

"For being accepted to Hogwarts, duh." He replies as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"That wasn't a dream?" You ask him.

"Nope, you really are a witch." He replies quickly losing interest in this conversation.

"Is Lilian up yet?" You ask.

"No, she's probably going to be up soon though." He replies.

"Oh I can't wait to see that." You say.

Dillan looks at you confused and you just smirk at him knowing what's going to happen. Lilian values honesty over anything, and it gets a bit annoying at times. You know she is going to be pissed at Dillan and she will go about this two ways:

1)She will ignore him and give him the silent treatment for at least a week.

2)She will yell at him and tear him to shreds until he's close to tears.

You're personally hoping for the second option.

At that moment Lilian walks into the kitchen groggily but when she sees Dillan her eyes blaze with anger.

"YOU!" She shrieks.

This startles Dillan and he spills his cereal and looks at you with questioning eyes. You just shrug him off and go back to pouring yourself orange juice.

"YOU'RE A LITTLE PRICK YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT?!" She yells at him.

Dillan looks at you again but this time it's giving you a look to help him. You feel a small bit of pity but no one gets involved when Lilian's mad. That's like giving yourself a death wish.

"What...what did I do?" He asks in a small voice. It's kind of funny seeing your 13 year old brother so scared of your 9 year old sister.

"DON'T PLAY DUMB!" She yelled. "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOUR DID!"

After that she stops, yanks the milk from Dillan's hand and goes to get her cereal.

"Wow, she did a mixture of both. That only means one thing, you REALLY pissed her off." You say.

"Whatever, she cant stay mad at me forever, I am her brother." He replies brushing it off.

However you know that Lilian is definitely going to prank him and he will be eating his words.

-Time Skip-

It was about 5:00, in the afternoon this time, when your mom said it was time to go have dinner with the other family. You normally would not be excited for something like this but knowing it's a wizarding family your double excited.

"We are going to use floo powder to get the Potters house." Your mom said.

Foo powder? What's that? Apparently your sister was think the same thing.

"What's loo powder?" Your sister asked.

"It's called floo powder and I'll show you how to use it." Dad said.

He walked into the fireplace, took a handful of powder, threw it at his feet, the shouted "Godric's Hollow!" and was engulfed in green flames.

You try and not freak out as your mom says you can go first. You walk up to the fireplace and your mom says, "All you have to do is says 'Godric's Hollow' very clearly."
