Our Bumpy Road (Albus Potter x Reader)

Ch. 5: Start of 5th Year

-Time Skip to Summer before 5th Year-

"JANES SIRIUS POTTER! YOU PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!" You shout.

James is like your second older brother and one of the things he loves to do the most is annoy you.

"Nah, I think I like you better slung over my shoulder." He replies.

You start struggling to get down but his grasp on you is stronger. He has you slung over his shoulder in the kitchen and that's when you see Albus and Scorpius walk down the stairs in your direction.

Scorpius always stays at the Potter's house since his mum died. It was hard for him but he likes being surrounded by the Wotter clan better than his dreary house.

"Al! Scorpius!" You shout at them. "Help me!"

"James, give her to me." Albus said.

James just huffed and reluctantly handed you to Al before running upstairs. You were about to say thank you to Albus when he slung you over his own shoulder.

"ALBUS!" You shout at him.

Scorpius is laughing so hard and Albus just replied, "Yes?"

"Put me down!" You say struggling to get down.

"No, I agree with James. You're much better slung over my shoulder." Albus says.

You give up because you know you can't do anything and just lay limp on his shoulder.

"Albus Potter! Put Y/n down right now!" A voice behinds you shouts. It's Rose, your face lights up seeing her.

Since it was summer, you, Lilian, and Rose were all staying with Lily in her room. Scorpius was staying in Al's room and Dillan was staying in James' room. You could say it was a full house.

It was around 6:00 and Harry and Ginny had gone out to get away from all of the kids. The mistake they made, was leaving James in charge of everyone.

"Rose! My savior!" You say.

"Albus, put Y/n down, now." Rose says again but in a more threatening tone.

"Fine." Al says.

Albus then drops you on the floor and you land face first one the tile floor.

"That's not what she meant." You say giving Albus a death glare.

"Oh I'm sorry, it isn't?" He says sarcastically before laughing at you with Scorpius joining in. You swear you see Rose crack a grin too. You stand up and give Albus another death glare.

"I bet you would you would rather be slung over my shoulder now." He whispers to you.

You shove him playfully and then you notice Rose and Scorpius have disappeared.

"Where did Rose and Scorpius go?" You ask.

"If you ask me, there probably snogging in Al's room." A voice says.

You turn around and see Dillan standing there. Rose had been talking to you how she was falling for Scorpius but you had to admit it was pretty obvious. That's why this statement shocked no one.

"Aww come on, why did it have to be MY room." Albus complains.

"Because that's where Scorpius is staying." You say

James came down the stairs and joined your conversation.

"And if you wanted to know exactly where, I would say your desk sounds about right."
