Ch. 6: Healing the Tension

When you wake up in the morning your feel light headed and groggy. That's when you remember you had been crying all night. Rose had tried to comfort your but you shut the curtains of the four poster in her face.

You had been crying because Al basically forbid you from being friends with Max. You hadn't been best friends with Max in muggle school by you still had mutual friends.

You only liked Max as a friend nothing more, why couldn't Al see that? You've been best friends with Al since the end of first year and now he's being all over protective of you.

You decided you didn't like where your thoughts were going to forgive Albus. He was just being over protective, and that was okay. He was your best friends anyways, you could never stay mad at him.

You threw on a big oversized hoodie and jeans before heading to the Great Hall, thankful it was a Saturday.

When you walked the the doors it was like the whole Gryffindor table looked at you. You knew it wasn't really the whole table only the Wotter clan. But to be honest that basically is the whole table.

You made your way over there and sat next to Al. Everyone stared at you in pure shock, including Albus. Rose must've told them you'd been crying and they probably were expecting a full on outburst.

"Can you pass me the jam?" You ask Al nicely.

"S-sure." He replies somewhat shakily.

"Don't be scared, I won't bit silly." You say giggling at Al.

"Are you okay? You never giggle and aren't you supposed to be mad at me?" He asks you.

"Of course I'm okay."' You reply giggling some more. You didn't know why you were giggling so much, Al was right you never did. You supposed you were just in a good mood.

"That's it. Something is definitely wrong." He says getting up and grabbing your hand. "I'm taking you to Madame Pomfrey."

"Nooooo... Al I don't wanna gooo." You say dragging out all the 'o's before bursting into a fit of giggles.

Before Al can drag you any further the post comes.

"Oooh, look the mail!" You say exclaiming and pointing at the owls before sitting down again.

"Don't think your getting out of this so easily." Al whispers into your ear sending shivers down your spine. However, at that moment a letter falls into his lap distracting him for the time being.

"Eeeee!!!" Rose shrieks.

"What is it?" You ask thoroughly confused.

"Teddy and Victoire are having a wedding!" She exclaims which sends the Wotter clan into a frenzy.

Al opens his letter and says, "I got an invite too."

"So did I." James says a couple of people away.

"Me too." Hugo, Rose's brother, add in.

Soon the whole table is agreeing except you and Scorpius. You don't mind though, knowing Rose your probably going to go anyways.

"That sounds lovely." You say to Rose.

"What do you mean, 'that sounds lovely.' You're coming too!" Rose says. "You to Scorp."

Once your done with breakfast you try and sneak away from the table unnoticed and make it through one corridor before you here foot steps behind you.

You stop and tense up not know who is behind you. Before you know it your being yanked into a broom cupboard with someone in very close proximity to you. You try and scream but the mystery person already has their hand on your mouth.
