Ch. 11: Love Potion

You had been sitting at the Ravenclaw table all week and hadn't talked to anyone in Gryffindor since you first kissed Max. You hadn't meant to be ignoring them, you just focused a lot on Max.

You were leaving the Ravenclaw tower and heading back to the Gryffindor common room after hanging out with Max all afternoon.

When you walked in no one was in the common room which you thought was odd. You continued your way up the stairs to your dorm room and are very confused when you look inside.

All your closest friends and family are there: Rose, Scorpius, Albus, Lily, Lilian, Dillan, and James.

This only distracted you for a moment before you started think about Max again. You then saw their presence as the perfect time to tell them all about Max.

"Ooh yay! You guys are here! Now I can tell you all about Max." You say excitedly.

They all stare at you in shock before Rose exclaims, "That's the first thing you say to us?!"

"What else should I say to you?" You ask.

"Oh I don't know maybe... why you've been ignoring us?" She asks in a very passive aggressive way.

"I haven't been ignoring you." You say.

"Yes you have, whenever we try and talk to you, you are too busy staring at Max." Scorpius says exasperatedly.

You now understand what the purpose of them being here is.

"I thought you guys would be happy for me." You say with your voice wavering and tears starting to come to your eyes.

"How can we be happy for you when you dating that scumbag Max?!" Albus exclaims.

You look at him, with tears already starting to come down your cheeks, and don't say anything as you sprint out of your dorm room.

You don't know where to go except to Max. You arrive at the Ravenclaw knocker and answer the riddle after thinking about it for about 5 minutes. You run up the stairs to Max's dorm but when you open the door you see Max kissing another Ravenclaw girl. He doesn't even see you but in that moment your heart shattered.

That's when the same feeling from the Great Hall comes over you. You feel something warm in your stomach and you throat starts closing up. You stumble backwards gasping for air when it suddenly ends.

By this point Max and the Ravenclaw girl have noticed you but you can't remember why you are in the Ravenclaw tower. The last thing you remember is Max tripping over Al's foot but everything after that is black.

"Y/n?" Max says. "I- It's not what it looks like!"

This earns him a smack from the Ravenclaw girl but you don't know why he is telling you this. The Ravenclaw girl then storms out of his dorm.

You feel your cheeks and notice they're wet. You assume you were crying but you don't know why.

"Why am I here?" You ask.

"You don't remember?" He asks you starting to look worried.

"No, the last thing I remember is you tripping in the Great Hall." You say.

"Shoot... the love potion stopped working." He mumbled.

"Love potion?" You ask.

"Sh*t." He mumbled again.

You poor two and two together and figured out what had happened. When he tripped he sneaked the love potion into your pumpkin juice. You can't remember anything because you were under the potions spell. You also assumed seeing him kiss that girl is what made the potion stop working.

"You gave me a love potion?" You asked threateningly.

He didn't respond but ran his hand through his hair muttering something you couldn't hear.

"YOU ARROGANT LITTLE PRICK!" You screeched at him.

This caught him by surprise and he fell off his bed he had been previously sitting on.

You stormed out of the Ravenclaw dorm and went back to the Gryffindor common room. You were seething with anger but no one was in the common room. You went up to your dorm, which was also empty, and plopped onto your bed.

You were so full of emotions after ten minutes you passed out.
