Meanwhile...
Justin got ready for the game. They had somehow managed to get a pool so it was a water relay race. He was ecstatic. He heard a rumor someone was missing, but he didn’t have a clue or a care who it was. It was game time. He smiled and headed towards the pool. He shifted into his dog form. Rebecca waved from down the row of swimmers. Figures she wouldn’t swim as a cat. Dumb cats, don’t like water.
He turned back to the pool. The whistle was blown and he was off. The race was started off with lots of energy. Soon people started to slow down and Justin was just in the middle. He wasn’t doing the best, but was not the worst. He turned around and paddled back towards his teammates. The next one was off as soon as he reached the edge. The race ended after all five people in each group finished the laps.
“And here are the top ten: yellow team, 10th place; green team, 9th place; white team, 8th place; blue team, 7th place; purple team, 6th place; orange team, 5th place; red team, 4th place; black team, 4th place; pink team, 3rd place; indigo team, 2nd place,” Crystal called out. Just a moment before the crowd of campers had been loud with celebration of their standings. Now there was silence as they waited for the first place winner to be announced.
The silence was broken with the last announcement from Crystal,” Brown team, 1st place!!!” The brown team erupted in thunderous cheers. It was deafening. They were handed a trophy and it was filled enough candy for each team member. Everyone cheered for them and settled for their standings. Nobody else was satisfied with them though. The brown team would get a feast tonight while the rest of them had pizza. When some of the more bratty members passed us they stuck out their tongues or laughed. Most of the others tried to ignore it, but several people almost started a fight.
No one was in a real sour mood that night. Some of them, including Justin and Rebecca, were really happy. Some people stayed up till around two having fun.

Rebecca came into her cabin to find a small piece of printed paper. It read this:
”We have sent this note to inform you that your friend
Lennae
is missing. We are sorry.
If you happen to know her whereabouts please inform us immediately.
Sorry.”
She reread the note making sure it was Lennae that was mentioned. It couldn’t be. How could Lennae run away? Why would she? There had to be a reason. Maybe she should tell Justin. He was her friend, right?
She would have to wait until morning to find him. One thing was for sure, she wouldn’t get any sleep tonight. Little did she know neither of her friends didn’t get any either. Justin was tossing on an uncomfortable mattress thinking that something was wrong. He just couldn’t figure out why. Lennae was struggling with her thoughts. She was curled up in a tree in the forest.
