Chapter 14

I stand there still as a statue after hearing what the bird said. Well, Ash.

"I-i don't know what to say..."
I answered Ash.

"Look I know that your surprised and shocked but I can tell you why you should believe me and trust me." He said.

"Ok... Go ahead..." I said eager to know.

"I only have two reasons, one, is that it explains why you can change the climate around you and why you have this sudden fever. Blanc   thinks that you are becoming a cat-vamp because he bit you to protect you." The bird paused and searched my eyes, as if to see if I was uncomfortable with what he was saying.

"So what your trying to tell me that I'm becoming a cat-vampire?" I questioned worried.

"Yes it's true you are on the verge of becoming one because he didn't bite you again." He said looking away.

I break down on the floor after I heard what will happen to me, the bird flew and settled on the floor next to me, a wing placed on my knee in an act of comfort.

"I-is there a way to reverse it?" I ask trying my best to keep my voice even.

"I'm afraid not... He has to bite you again or tomorrow you'll be a cat-vamp." He said gazing at my teary eyes.

"C-continue telling me why I should trust you?" I said. I wanted to know the other reason.

"Oh...yes...yes of course...it's because that I am part of you... You made me come out to help you out of this mess even if you don't know about this massive power you have you can make me come out when your stressed ,scared mad, or even if you want to sort out how you feel." He explained.

"Wait...go back a few words..." I ask not sure of what I think.

"Um...your the one who makes me come out when your stressed-"

"No... Back a bit further."

"Even if you don't know about this massive power you have?"

"Yes... What do you mean by that?"I ask, okay guess I'm getting lured in by this bird.

"Look... You are no ordinary human or one of those creatures." He pauses before taking a deep breath " You are a princess of both Dragons and Phoenixs. An heir to the throne of both citys. Except that the Phoenix's became extinct after that war." He explained.

"Wait...Are you serious!?" J exclaimed.

"Yes it's the truth and if you become a cat-vamp you'll become princess of the cat-vamps too."

"So I'm the only Phoenix kind left ...?"

"Wait your buying it without any suspicion sis!?" He asked almost shocked with surprise.

"Yeah... It's the only explanation that makes sense." I paused." It explains why my eyes are thin like slits but it doesn't explain why they are thinner than a cat's." I glare at him.

"It's because you have a dragon form and a phoenix form and now you'll add up and get a cat form so it explains why they seem as if they weren't even there." He gestures.

"By the way..." He starts." It's time for you to go to sleep because tomorrow you will start training." The little bird flew to where my back was facing him then started pushing me.

I jumped when I started moving to my bed.

Damn, Note-to-self:

Never and I mean NEVER mess with this bird.

"Okay I'll go to bed only if you tell me what I'm training here for exactly?" I said standing up.

"Well flying of course!"

"Hey... You know I can't fly!" I said looking at him.

His eyebrow rises."You sure?" He asked me plainly.

"Duh... Of course I'm sure."

He gestures at my feet. I look down.

Okay this settles it... How the hell am I floating-or hovering?
